Hey all!
It's so rad to find a site for lesbian gamers 'n' geeks. Cuz if I have one more woman stare down her nose at me when I try to introduce her to the joys of whatever my latest game/comic/movie obsession is, bad things will happen. ("So, that's like, a nerdy game?")
I have a tendency to get long-winded, so I'll keep this short. I'm currently playing Boom Blox, GTA IV, and working on getting my first WoW toon to 70 (I've played off and on for a couple years now, but I have a tendency to abandon toons at 35 or so. This one's 65-- so I may actually make it!)
The last movie I saw in theaters was Iron Man, but I saw No Country for Old Men, There Will be Blood, and Juno before that.
There aren't many comics I collect currently (so I'll take recommendations) but I have a ginormous X-men collection and I think Lucifer is brilliant.
I'm a professional writer. I'm originally from PA, but moved to TX for my job. Needless to say, it's not the East Coast, but at least it's Austin.

Hey, thanks for the welcome.
I have all the current-gen systems (including handhelds) and a PC that is slowly slipping behind the curve. I suppose I should upgrade it, but it gets expensive (even if I build my own) and I've always been a console kid at heart. Something about being able to relax on the couch and put my feet up just feels right. Somehow, sitting in front of a computer always feels like work, even when the purpose is relaxation. It's not physically more effort-- it's just a psychological thing, I guess. |

Welcome, I was also pretty happy finding this place (one of us! one of us! XD)
Grats on the WoW char! Do you get a mount or something at 70? I'm not too familiar with the game lol
How's Boom Blox? Looks cute!
I saw Iron Man too, thought it was pretty good ^^ thrusters at 10%, bwahahaha...

Hey lintspeed! Welcome to the forum, isnt it great? So far its the only internet forum I've found where people aren't complete dicks... and its a video game forum ::gasp:: 
I've also had embarrassing moments taking girls over to my house only to have them sniff at all my game systems. *sigh* why cant all girls be geeky girls  |
