Went to Gamestop today to buy a new Xbox live membership, and the guy told me the new PS3 slim is coming out in two weeks for only $299 (80gb). I'm sooo glad the price has gone down, I'm definitely buying it with my next paycheck! _________________ [center] ][/center]

Nah its pretty much the same specs as the previous model. The only differences is that it has a matte finish instead of glossy finish, it apparently uses less power. Oh and of course, its slimmer and cheaper.

Yeah, pretty much. I think it's only the 120gig that is backwards compatible? Eh, I have a PS2 anyway, ha. But it would be nice :/

That's so sick that they brought the price down. I didn't even know they had plans for a slim version. I may have to add a PS3 to my collection soon. _________________ Well, it's a dull life.

Hm. I'd get one if there were more games I wanted to play for the PS3. Right now the list is InFamous and Little Big Planet. That and I wish it was backwards compatible. _________________ The Angels have the Phonebox.

Well, I used to be a PS fan until they came out with the PS3.. There's not really any games on it to play or that I'd actually spend $50+ for. I got an xbox 360 instead, and I love it to death!
