I have to say that, although I started reading Stephen King at age 5 (no lie!), Piers Anthony has to be my favorite author.  He's somewhere between fantasy, science fiction and just plain weird, but I love his work.  I can say there hasn't been a series yet that he's created that I have disliked, which is going a ways seeing how picky I can be. So, are there any other Piers Anthony fans in the house?  Xanth?  Mode?  Incarnations of Immortality? Back to top alchera Just Experimenting Joined: 17 Dec 2007 Posts: 23 Consoles: PC, XBox 360, PS2, Wii, Gamecube, PSP, DS Location: Georgia Posted: Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:40 am    Post subject: I never got into Xanth really, but I absolutely LOVED the Mode series.  I really related to Colene, and Sequiro was just awesome!  It also really gets you coming up with ideas for all these crazy alternate realities.  My only complaint was the last book.  You could tell he was rushing to finish it up.  Originally it was supposed to be as long if not longer than Xanth, but the publishers apparently decided it wasn't making enough and told him to end it.  I would've loved to see more. Insofar as rushing,  *shrugs*  I dunno.  It seemed okay to me.
