| On top of having Xbox Live, you have to pay an addition fee to play Final Fantasy. That's probably why it didn't work for you. |

I don't have a gamer FML, but I have one for my other obsession (cartoons).
I was talking to this 19 yr old girl I was seeing and mentioned that I like "old, classic cartoons". She replied "me too!"...........and then proceeded to name off a list of cartoons made AFTER I was 19. FML.
She made me feel SO old! lol _________________ .

I was 3 waves away from getting my "Wave 50 completed" achievement on GoW2. I had been playing so long my legs were numb and I probably looked like a zombie. My 2 year old nephew had come over a little bit before and was playing with my SW toys and watching me. Then, BAM. There goes my 360 as it hit the ground and unplugged the console. GoW2 was completely ruined and guess who was host? Bye-bye achievement that I had been working on the whole day and hello hate mail from 10 year olds. Agreed. Played FFXI for a month or so. Didn't care much for it even though I am an FF fanatic. XIV is probably going to be a fail as well.
Uhm. As for an Fmylife for gamers.. Hmm..
I was playing FFTactics and in the middle of going through the Dark Dungeon (Sorry if that's the wrong name for that place, but I haven't played it in a while) and as you know, you have to go through about 13 stages? Well, I had retrieved all the rare treasure finds and about to receive the last summon for my Summoner.. And out of impatience in waiting for the opposing team's turns.. I was messing with the controller and accidently reset it. My fault, but still. FML for my impatience. _________________ [center]

This is something I think most gamers can agree they've experienced--especially in RPGs.
I was playing Persona 4 the other day and was getting really far in this one area. I was managing to kill everything I ran into, including the boss at the end. Then when I came back to do a little more grinding, the first thing I ran into seemed easy enough: this little king looking thing. I started wailing on it, but then it summoned a tough monster to help it. So I had to spend some time trying to kill that--and then it summoned more. Next thing I knew, I was dead.
And I forgot to save after that boss.
fml.
Another experience: I was slightly underleveled on Xenosaga (Episode 1) and I couldn't go back and level to get myself up to speed. I had to press on in this dangerous environment. Sadly the trek was too much and I couldn't find a save point for over 2 hours and I died. ): FML.
