Perhaps it is a nostalgia thing with him. I don't have one, but it did have some wonderful and quirk ridden titles in the library. A few months ago we did a podcast over at thumb bandits about the dreamcast and how awesome it was. I really went into a big love rant about how much I loved games like Tony Hawks 2, Crazy Taxi, Samba De Amigo and more... annnnyway.... it prompted me to go out and buy one second hand. I got Sega Bass Fishing for it which is still awesome and I really need some games! Would love to have the ones I had before. Heard about the Wii getting Samba De Amigo though which is brilliant.
