well honestly other anime fanaticz keep talkin about it. i used 2 watch it but when it gottn better ididnt have basic cable cuz i rather pay 4 high speed cable internet lol but then again i think on prv. websitez that shows them be worth researchin.

tried watching Naruto, gave it about 8 episodes but couldn't get into it, dropped. n.n; i tried, i REALLY tried but meh. i liked Bleach better and Rurouni Kenshin MUCH BETTER than both. at least as far as the whole 'battle arena with samurai/ninja/sword/dagger' type anime goes. i enjoyed watching Flame of Recca as well but then again, Fuuko is awesome and i loved her weapon the most. XD
for the most part, i stay away from a lot of shounen series that have the typical 'battle, lose, train to master new technique, battle again, barely win w/ not so perfected technique but moves to next challenger, rinse, repeat as necessary' formunla, unless it has a really good story or characters i grow fond of.
though Naruto didn't make it to my 'keep watching' list, i do admit to wanting a Sound Village headband to wear while DJing. XD
and Avatar is the much awesome even though it's not Japanese anime. Toph is <3

good fighting games though.
Avatar isnt anime. It is made by nickelodeon.
It is amazing though. pure amazement, defiantly a show to watch.
The Boondocks isnt an anime either.
It is a cartoon based on a newspaper comic strip by Aaron Mcgruder.
That cartoon/comic strip is also amazing.
The Boondocks is also a show for older people lol and people who aren't easily offended.

well, it's all semantics really. the literal translation of 'anime' from japanese to english is simply 'animation/animated cartoon', so Avatar and Boondocks are anime in a sense, just not Japanese anime.
as far as the fighting genre, i think the last series i watched, though not the most recent, that was like that was Hajime no Ippo. actually wait, it might be Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny. one of the two. i stopped watching Bleach once it started with the fillers after the Soul Society arc and haven't gone back to it yet.
the most recent series i've finished watching is the second season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, which was much less gruesome than the first series. i'm most looking forward to the movie/oav for Kara no Kyoukai, which is part of the Type-Moon (Tsukihime & fate/stay night) trilogy, though it never got a game like the other two. i wish i was good enough to read the novel. DX

lol i don't know if i would claim to be an expert but i do watch and read a lot of anime/manga and have taken a few Japanese courses. i'm into entertainment in general but anime is definately one of the things i enjoy most so...i pick up a lot of details about it, i guess? it probably also helps that i've been into anime since about 1996, not counting watching Voltron and Robotech as a kid.
