Revolutionary Girl Utena (try veoh and animefreak.tv) I think Revolutionary Girl Utena is my true number one favorite, but it was very hard to understand due to the fact that its completely allegorical and allusory. You won't understand it fully until you've watched both the anime and the movie both. #5.) Skip Beat! (crunchyroll) *LOVE SKIP BEAT!* #6.) Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl (weird but good) *Kashimashi note: You can only find it on veoh* 7.) Sailor Moon! <3 Anime Movies #1) Spirited Away #2.) 5 Centimeters per second K peeps! I think it's because they gave Jiji more personality/lines) Mononoke Hime/Princess Mononoke Hotaru no Haka/Grave of the Fireflies (Still makes me tear up...) Sennen no Joyu/Millennium Actress Paprika Macross Plus: Movie Edition Ghost in the Shell 2 (I liked the first one but I LOVE the second one.) Anime Toppe Tenge Gurren Laggan It is pretty rediculous and over the top, but it is by far the most entertaining and hilarious anime I have ever seen. I recommend anyone who likes anime watch it! Full Metal Alchemist Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu Kasimasi Utena Lucky Star Higurashi Gundam Wing Movies Tonari no Totoro (Feel good anime for me, I always watch it whenever I feel sad and it always makes me feel better.) (Pretty much all other Miyazaki) Ghost in the Shell Though I have to admit there are so many listed on here that I REALLY want to/need to see, Princess Tutu, Slayers, Gunsmith Cats. Oh, and I have to say I agree w you nekotine on Grave of the fireflies. I LOVE that movie SOOOO much, but I dont think I can ever watch it again as I just completely lose it and just bawl for like at least an hour.[/b] |

Anime isn't very popular around here so I don't get to watch if often but I more than make up for it in reading a lot of manga online
But a few of my fav animes that I have seen are Black cat, Negima and Digimon. I hope I get to watch FMA oneday. I've been reading the manga and it's wicked good ^^ |

OMG, the first season of Digimon will ALWAYS be my favorite! Same with Pokemon. 1st Seasons are the BEST seasons. I don't even KNOW what's out now... Pokemon New Frontier Battle XG Gotta catch all 300+ now something or another...

Yeah, Miyazaki's movies are all on my favorites. Including a couple you didn't list, like "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind." Oh wow! You've seen Skip Beat! too? Awesome, I love that series. I watched a little bit of Kaleido Star but never managed to finish it. I also love Noir. One of my favorites which I forgot to list is Chance Pop Session. ^_^ |

I have Chobits on DVD and manga. It's on of my favorites. Azumanga Daioh is really funny. I have Marmalade Boy in manga, but didn't like the anime. |

Sure, I like it. I'm not as rabid about it as I used to be considering I'm way too picky and series rarely interest me anymore. My favorite series of. all. time would be Cowboy Bebop. Nothing (except maybe Samurai Champloo) has ever garnered such a fangasmic reaction from me like good 'ol Bebop.
Honorable mentions: • Michiko to Hatchin - I still need to finish this series. I love a hbic. • Saiyuki - Soley for Sanzo. That bamf. • Hellsing - I actually hate vampire themes, but Alucard is something supreme (I did not intend for this to rhyme). • Azumanga Daioh - Hilarity. • FLCL - Wtfery |

Some of my favs with anime counterparts are: Nana Nodame Cantabile Berserk Boys Over Flowers Death Note Kare Kano Kodocha Lovely Complex Naruto Please Save My Earth oh, and Sailor moon will always be one of my favorite anime. |

I think one of the reasons I liked it was cause of how they made Haruka and Michiru cousins.

Yea, they did! It also confused me a bit when the Starlights in the MANGA were women DRESSED as men, but in the ANIME, they're full on MEN. I was like, WTF, why? That's why I loved the Manga introduction to the Starlights because Seiya was actually lesbian.

I've never seen the Starlights in the anime. Only in a few youtube clips  I remember someone telling me they were men until they transformed, and I was like, wow. Weird.
I never could get into the Sailor Moon manga, maybe I should try reading it again. |

LMFAO, yea, it's awesome. XD Misaki is a Spirit Medium/Necromancer by day... And a Dominatrix by night! X] Her boss is a magazine editor Misaki does a sex column for and is a lesbian.
And in one arc in the manga, her boss gets Misaki to take some BDSM pictures with her and Misaki is a bit shocked but doesn't object and in fact, enjoys the photo shoot.
Plus, she has a killer attitude, it's humorous and its dark and sexy. I mean, she normally fights in her laced up teddy's.

Yea. I love how her partner Souichiro is terrified of ghosts and is often left in the car cowering as Misaki investigates the scenes alone. XD And Mitsuru and his obsession with her, taking pictures of her and hacking her computers.
Yea, the anime is only 4 episodes because it's primarily a manga. But I love her english voice as it totally works for her GTFO of my face attitude. XDDD |
