Hooray for replying to five month-old threads!
MST3K is one of life's few unqualified joys. Some of the dudes from MST3K are now doing Rifftrax (I think that's how they spell it) where basically they can skewer any movie they want because it's just an audio file you buy and listen to while watching the movie. No need for them to get the rights! So they can now do more recent stuff like the Star Wars prequels.
Of course, nothing really beats the old B-movie fare. "Attack of the the [sic] Eye Creatures", "Manos: The Hands of Fate", "Monster A-Go-Go", "Fugitive Alien", "Riding with Death", "The Rebel Set", "The Incredibly Strange Creatues Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies", "Fire Maidens from Outer Space."
Yeah, just listing off the titles brings back fond memories.

Man I sure did love MST3K when it was on. I used to record them on VHS and pass them around to my friends who in turn would make tapes and pass them around...

Okay, maybe you can help me here. What was the name of that rip-off of the old Battlestar Galactica series that the MST3K guys totally trashed? It used Colonial Vipers and Cylon Raiders in it and supposedly there was a Battlestar called Galactica but the people were all blonde and ridiculous and couldn't act their collective way out of a shoe bag. Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict... were all mysteriously absent. Any clues?

I used to watch it, when there was a telly. Not watched it in so many years, but I used to love it.
There are clips of it on youtube too and I watch those some times, just to remember what it was like.
