Blackberry Storm

Just wanting to see if there's anyone in this country that bought the Storm besides myself.   Laughing

I think it's an amazing phone.  I love the Sure-Press screen, and the browser is amazing for a Verizon phone.  The only thing that's killing me is the accelerometer, the iPhone blows it out of the water that's for sure.  The .75 update fixed it up a little.  I'm trying to clean out some of the preloaded stuff that I never use, in hopes it'll help speed it up.

Needless to say, I love my Storm!   Razz

Thanks for sharing that vid!  Oh man I've watched about 100 of these vs. videos before buying it.  There's some really comprehensive ones on youtube.  Cnet gave it a similar 5-point scale review to the iPhone in their articles.  

First and foremost, I am a total apple fan.  I use an iMac and a MacBook, plus I've got an iPod Nano, 32G Touch and 80G classic.  The iPhone looks amazing, and it is, but the one crutch for me is AT&T.  I have always been with Verizon, have had the best service with Verizon; and above all else the plans are more affordable.  True I can't deny that the Storm is way buggier than the iPhone but it's still a Blackberry.  My girlfriend is getting ready to go abroad for school, and I am considering the same, and having this phone is a big advantage for that.  If anything the Touch serves as my iPhone...just without the phone haha!

Still I'm hoping to see at least one other BBStorm user on this forum!  The iPhone totally dominates the touch screen market with something insane like 6.5 million units sold!   Smile

They are really cool, if I had Verizon Wireless, I would get one.

Where do you work that you're getting calls about them?

I get flack from every iPhone user I know and nearly everyone I see in public.  Razz

APAC, it's a company that works for Verizon Wireless.

I adore them.  I've really considered going to VZW. =D

I was excited at the thought of a touch screen blackberry. I had a Crackberry Curve before I became an iphoner for life. I turn to cnet.com or gizmodo.com for all my tech reviews.

BB Storm sucks

I'm a Blackberry user but not very fond of the Blackberry Storm. It's the suckiest of all BB, as far as I know! Not only does it not have wifi, it's also as slow as a turtle... ;p
