Hi all!

How about the idea of a lesbian gamer clan for CoD4. I'm not sure what it would be called yet, I suppose DYKE, would be far too forward. (Then again perhaps not.) So if any of you would like to get one started let me know. I would be more than happy to organize game times the best I can with time differences taken into account. I'm also open to a clan name.

I'll wait and see how much interest there is and go from there.

sadly I'm not into clans at all, I prefer to just meet up, no pressure and have a blast. I'm sure there will be some ladies around here that love the whole clan mentality though, so good luck with that.

Does CoD multiplayer have co-op options or is it just competing against other people like Halo?

I just rented COD4 last night, and it's pretty cool. I played campaign for a while and ventured into multiplayer before I called it a night. It's like, so totally different from Halo. It's pretty hard, I think, but I went up a rank and I scored 6 on my second game (only got 2 kills my first). I think I only played 3 games though. I'll try some more tonight.

No one talks during the game though... That's why I like Halo, cause there's chatting going on, and it just seems more fun and a little less...stressful. I was kinda anxious the whole time I was playing. I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing though. I called in an air strike or something...did not have any idea what that was about. hehe

I was nervous too! There are a lot more factors to CoD4 then Halo 3, but I love those factors. Sneeking around corners, sniping, air strikes. It's one of those games that's all about practice. The more I play the more I enjoy it. So much, in fact, that when playing Halo last night I couldn't stand it. I kept on pusing in the LS to run faster and hated that I couldn't.

I also like that you need to rank up to get better guns, camo, ect. It makes multiplayer all the more interesting. I guess I just feel like there is all the more to master. In Halo I just feel like it's a bunch of people shooting. I've been in games where people talked a lot. If we did get a clan set up I'm sure we would all be talkers!

I finished the campaign last night. Very very awesome game. I played a little more multiplayer too. I think it's okay...but...I dunno. I guess I'm just a Halo person. It seems that people either like COD4 and dislike Halo, or the other way around. There are so many arguments on the Xbox forums about it. Silliness.

I have to take the game back Sat, but I was gonna try to play a little more of it. I don't think it's something I'll buy, cause I'm not that interested in the multiplayer. Maybe if I had other people online to play with when I was playing. I still don't know what I'm doing, and the maps are huge!

Okay, so I returned the game, since my rental was over, and now I'm really wanting it back. I think I might go and buy it at some point.

But like...I don't know anyone that plays. I do have a couple friends on my list that play it, but I've never played with them. I'm a little um...shy when it comes to playing with friends for the first time. I want to do my best and stuff, and I'm not the greatest when it comes to this game. Haven't played any of the other COD games...I'm mostly a Halo player, so it's so different.

I went and played H3 after this, and I was so messed up! I couldn't figure out the controls and I was really bad. Halo seemed choppy too. COD4 ruined me! haha

I KNOW!!! It jaded me too. I went to play Halo 3 and I was all messed up too! You have a friend in me... I love playing... and it would be nice to get a bit more estrogen in my matches. If you do make the purchase I'll be on for sure. I loved Halo 3, but Call of Duty has totally swept me off my feet!

I'm playing COD4 too but unfortunately on the other console...I've only come across 2 other women playing this game on PS3 and one of them is in my clan...

it really took me some time to get used to this game...my first FPS was Rainbow Six Vegas which has a completely different playing strategy...the first night I played COD4 I was so ticked off...the only reason I knew how I was being killed was because of the kill cam...I'm doing better now, but there was a steep learning curve coming from R6V...

I gotta say, I normally hate FPS's and the COD series, but when I found out it was modern warefare I just had to give it a go. I rented it and loved every sec. I gotta say though, its real short, I completed it in 2 days playing a few hours here and there ..

Although its a smashing game I dont think its worth the £40 price tag! Though for all you brits (if any) Gamestation has the xbox 360 version for £24 which seem more fitting, considering how short it is, But other than that, its defo worth a fiddle! Its totally left me wanting more, hopefully the follow up titles will continue with the modern warefare thing instead of those bloodt masket things!

i just bought cod4 today i played fir like 10 mins didnt really like it but for the name umm well i maid one on halo 2 called TLC DEMONS (THE LESBIAN CLAN OF DEMONS) just making sugjestions, or you can change it but well just thought i would say something.

i'm not the greatest at FPS games...but i got addicted to COD4 multiplayer! my favorite is sabotage but i'll still play team deathmatch or hardcore.

sabotage is the bestest! so what is this i hear about a possible clan tag? at the moment i have my area code as my clan tag (lame, i know). so i would like to suggest LGF (Lesbian Gamers Forum) as a clan tag. what do you guys think? since we all met on this forum and all? it would be great if we could set up a gaming night! or gaming day, since we're all on different time zones and all. i'm online playing COD 4 almost every day, so if you see me pop up then lets play!!

I got the new maps. I like them all but chinatown. I suck hardcore on that map... i dunno why. I didnt used to like creek but i get to practice my sniping and i found a sweet sniping spot last night that got me a 10 kill streak so i was happy with that! For now i have my clan tag as LGBT. I was worried i would get a bunch of crap for it, but honest to god a lot of the guys dont really say anything, or know what it is i guess. And i have had a few girls add me because of it! So i am happy with that for now Smile

I've had COD4 for a while now, but just recently started playing online. Like a few of the other ladies mentioned, I'm one of those that goes in and shoots at anything and everything lol. I'm not confident enough to join a clan, but if anyone ever plays in the free-for-alls, let me know. Smile

I would definitely join except I play CoD4 on the PS3! I only know one other girl who plays that game, and we always play together.

Sucks barely anyone has it for the PS3. I need to find more people to kick butt with. :p
