DC Universe OnlineHas anyone else been dying to get this game when it finally gets released? I think a lesbian Justice League team would be supreme awesomeness. I keep reading new articles and updates regarding this game i just drool. I want to get my hands on a Green Lantern character!

I've been play testing Champions Online, and when I saw videos on Youtube of D.C, well I suddenly had to re-evaluate Champions because it looks better than D.C, and this was a bit of a shock to me.

So far all the gameplay videos i've seen of DC are a little grainy and don't look completely polished, but its not getting released until 2010 apparently, so there's still a lot of time for them to work on it. All the videos released could just be Beta testing stuff. But the DC factor is enticement enough! Green Lantern baby!
I'll admit Champions online does look good though.

I'm really hoping for early 2010, but who knows really. I waited for Spore for who knows how long. I remember talking with my best mate when we were in high school about it. It finally came out 6 years later!
But it looks promising that they've released a trailer for it on the Playstation network. So hopefully it's not too much of a long wait. Sad they scrapped Marvel Universe Online though.
*edit* I've just realised that the 2010 predicted release is for the Aussie release, it's highly likely it'll be released in the US much earlier -sigh-

Hmm I wonder if the UK will receive it later than that then... =/
I hope it won't be disappointing. Don't you hate waiting for aaaages for a game, and it turns out to be a heap of junk?

Yeah, i have to say i was a little disappointed with Spore after a while, It didnt really have the replay value i was looking for, I head the new expansion pack makes it much better, but i'm a little opposed to expansion packs, it should be part of the game initially or released as a free online upgrade, not to be used as a money generator.
So far from the trailers of DC, it sounds pretty good. I was just reading up the wiki page for it and i'm deliriously excited about all the 'confirmed' payable characters. Green Lantern for hero, Harley Quinn for villain

Ahhh I know! It's pretty damn exciting. I'm a major Wonder Woman fan myself, so she'll be my first choice
Have you noticed any major characters missing that you would have thought they'd incluce?

I'm actually quite impressed with the line up so far. I haven't noticed any major characters missing, but so far on the list of confirmed characters, they haven't specified between which were actual playable characters and which were NPCs. They're included characters like Congo Bill, Bat-mite and Mr. Zsasz, all of whom I haven't i actually heard of ashamedly.
They've got the 2 lesbian superheroes too, Batwoman and the new Question, Renee Montoya.

sooo looking forward to this one, bit of a dc fangirl.
already got my superheroine planned with an extensive backstory and support characters, though they don't fit in with the dc universe.
she has a bit of a history.
