Yeah, I wasn't a fan at all. If my friend who recommended it to me had told me it was just another pseudo-zombie-apocalypse movie, I probably wouldn't have bothered to see it. Basically, I spent the whole movie thinking about how much better 28 Days Later was. | ||||||||||||||||||

I don't know WTF people are talking about, but there are no zombies in I Am Legend. The monsters are similar to vampires, not zombies. If anyone like post-apocalyptic films, they could see far worse films than I Am Legend. I thought it was well done.
From what I know, the 1954 novel on which the film was based, is pretty different. A friend who's read it, said both the film and novel are good, but in their own ways. |

They're a cross between vampires and zombies... Either way, a virus infected human gone insane.
The movie was good and has it's perks. Due to the story plot, the movie was forced to be a one man movie. Making a little dragged out to see. It certainly is different, but good. |

i went and saw the movie last night. i suppose it's a good thing i didn't expect much from it, due to all the bad reviews from my friends...but i have to say it had a pretty decent set of action shots. there were several things in the plot that didn't quite make sense to me...but...you know. whatever. | ||||||||||||||||||

I watched it on Christmas Day, as we had it on pirate DVD (yes, I know, very naughty). I enjoyed it, was a bit creepy though. But it does make you think. Will Smith was good in it and carried the film well. | ||||||||||||||||||

I loved it, but then again i love every movie with zombie-like vampire thingy's lol
It's not the deepest movie ever but it does what an action/horror type movie has to do, and it does it quite well ^^ |

I liked the book better. The vampires in it were more vampiric in nature and it made me think more.
This movie reminded me of this book I'd read years ago. I didn't realise they were the same book/movie until I googled it just then. I <3 wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Legend I recommend the book. Awesome! Romero was influenced by this, the first of the vampire / zombie disease books. |
