Fire Emblem: Radiant DawnI would like to say how horribly addicted I am to this game XD
More importantly, does anyone else see the gay subtext in the game? Especially about Lucia? (Lucia x Ilyana, Lucia x Elincia)

Eep I hope I don't get roasted because this is an old thread but I had to reply!
So far I've restarted the game 7 times, no lie....or maybe 6. Anyway, I have yet to finish it. I keep getting down to the final chapter then restarting because there a little something I want to do different. XD The thing I love about Fire Emblem is its awesome selection! I always make an all female army. X3; And I like buffing up weaker characters just to see how they turn out.
Radiant Dawn does kind of have a lot of umm....gayness in it. Well, no not really. But it's like a viiiibe kind of.
Look at Heather, she's pretty gay if you ask me. XD I love Heather, but sadly I seem to be the only one who has this opinion. (Heather x Nephenee, rawr!)

Yeah, I reset all the time, I hate losing characters and want to get everyone and all the items, I was in the middle of replaying it but stupid life got in the way lmao
I like using an all female party too, too bad Ike is there... boo.
Yes, Heather is very gay, and hits on all the girls actually XD I leveled her up just because of it hahahahaha :X
When you get Ilyana and Lucia's support high <3 hehehe,

Yeah, you can actually make a lot of the supports sound really gay in Radiant Dawn because the characters all say the same things to each other (which is a first, I think, in FE history? have not played the first 5 games, lol)
Yup, I usually crush everyone on the battlefield using only Titania (she is indestructable!!), Mia, Nephenee, and Heather. I upgrade Mist too, because she's cute and her upgraded class rides a horse, whooo!
Gawd, I also must get all items and characters. That's why I think it's good that you upgrade Heather, so that she dodges everything, slips by enemies, and steals EVERYTHING. XD
Elincia rocks pants too, except in the last chapter where she goes and learns the "skill" Mercy from who-knows-where. WHATS THE POINT!? DX
....Er, yeah...Ike is not one of my favorites. I used to read crap on the nets like "all you need is Ike and he'll slaughter like 50 enemies) UM NO. I max Ike out all the time and he still sucks and gets killed! DX And he's so slow, rawr...Thank God for Ragnell.
I think the true powerhouses of the game are Titania and Shinon. They are death/sex-on-legs.
Erm.....yeah, did I mention I like MiaxIllyana and MiaxMist? XD RAWR. Er, Lucia and Illyana, lemme see...they had their own support convo back in Path of Radiance didn't they? Where poor Illyana was put through those torturous training sessions to put on weight? lol poor girl. Yes, they are cute together...

Yeah, love the convos they have when you have them together more, and was so surprised when Lucia was calling Ilynana cute all the time and bringing her food, and how Ilyana had a mini crush on Lucia XD I liked it even more when Lucia kept rejecting Bastian bwahaha
Some are not all defaults, it depends if they have a type of friendship/relationship in the storyline if I recall, they do use the defaults too though... lol I've played the GBA versions, but I can't remember the supports o____________o
Yeah wth with Elincia, I wanted to kill something with her and she frigging leaves 1hp aaaaaaaaand then the enemy kills me next turn BOO
Hmmm, my Ike does kill everyone O_O I try not to use him after he maxes so I can level my other characters.
I like using Haar and Nephanee... Titania and Shinon are pretty awesome though, I try and make sure Titania leaves enemies for everyone else :X
Yaaa Mia is also a good combo with Ilyana  Never knew the Mia and Mist one tho :O

GRRRR Why does MY Ike suuuuck then?? DX *cries* I would like to use Lethe and Liere(?) buuut they suck too much. T^T They hardly ever deal any damage, and their beast juice meters (yes, I call it beast juice <<) go down too quickly...
I remember all the GBA supports and characters! Did you play FE7? The relationship between Lyn and Florina could be arguably quite gay. Even my sister who is kind of....homophobic always comments on how gay they are together. XD I think it's adorable. Love Florina, love Lyn mooore~
I only started using Haar really on my 4th-5th playthrough, and was like O_O woow he's not half bad! One thing that's so awesome about the console FE than GBA FEs is that you get to do that exp share thing when you're at base.
*sigh* I always get so spoiled by playing Ike's super special awesome group, then having to go back to Micaiah and her gang of....people. There's no comparison. T^T Except Micaiah is amazingly useful (which my sis refuses to believe, lol) and I find myself maxing her out by the time I get to the chapter with only her and the Black Knight. XD Then I could help him kill all the enemies instead of just hide behind him....well, I still hid behind him, just...y'know..Magic. XD

I dunno why your Ike sucks, but my Micaiah sucks, lmao I *had* to hide behind the Black Knight, it sucks trying to disperse the exp evenly because her group all kinda suck >_< especially in the beginning I was resetting like mad @_@ They even suck when you use Master Seals on them UGHHHH....
If you wanna level Lethe more, I swiped Muarim's laguz stone thing that perma-transforms him during battle and stuck it on Lethe, actually I did that with a lot of laguz beast tribe people...

Haar is a reaaaaallly good unit, I use him to block off sections sometimes and he can hack away at all the enemies, he's pretty quick too so he survives a long time

Hahaha, if only I knew how to take video recordings of my battles so I could show you! Micaiah can be quite awesome! I'd like to see the infamous tank!Ike.
The reason why Micaiah's group sucks is because it's supposed to be littered with street rats who happen to have weapons, so they were given to you at the lowest ranks possible. ~_~ I call them Baby Classes. Because you have to upgrade them 2-3 times before they are on par with Ike' group! For example, Rhys starts out as Bishop and upgrades, but by that time Laura is only then reaching Bishop, that is, if you even take the time to level her (which I do, because I'm a dork). It's annoying! And it makes fighting against Ike's group annoying!! XD
Yeah, I steal all the skills I can from characters I know I won't use, and from characters who you won't have later on in the game, IE, Tormod, Muarim and Vika... Which is a SHAME because I wanted to see more interactions between Vika and Micaiah....Couldn't you smell it?? The potential, I mean. XD Or maybe it's just me.
One thing I don't like about the Fire Emblem storyline and characters though is the whole age gap thing. WHY is it that everytime there is a race different from humans (ie, elves, demons, angels, w/e) they live 5x longer, or something similarly ridiculous? It make cross-species relationships sad. ;_; and there needs to be! haha. The humans need to smoke whatever Athos from FE7 was smoking and live a little longer. XDDD

Lmao! Yeah, maybe I need to spend a lot more time with Micaiah... and yeah they do start off at the very beginning with levels, aren't they the same classes as the higher characters in Ike's group in the GC version? Still sucks though, but the master seals that pop up *cough*or that I steal*cough* come in handy, but they sure don't beat regular leveling

Ahhh, interspecies relationships in there are sad and tragic, but they prolly knew that and did that on purpose to further drive the point, especially with Micaiah's storyline and how she always has to run :X

Yup. They don't fully address the whole branded thing, which made me sad. Well, full acceptance and tolerance comes in time? ^^ It reminds me of how the half-elves were prosecuted against in Tales of Symphonia. Hee~ .....Or maybe they did tackle that one in the end and I just don't know. I have not reached the end of the game yet cuz I keep restarting!
Er, what else....lessee the GC game Path of Radiance took place (I believe) 3 years before Radiant Dawn, before Ike got all FAT. I mean JEEEEZ he got huge! >< I didn't play PoR though cuz I was too dumb to buy it when it was in stores. ~_~ But I don't think Micaiah got any screen time in that one did she? And she's the one who raised Sothe, right? It's a little fuzzy with me, the details...I shudder to think how I would have beaten the Black Knight in that game. (Impossible~)
.......Now that I think about it, the only FE game I've ever finished was FE8, and that's only for Eirika's story! Cuz I keep restarting them all! O_o; *smacksself*
Hopefully I will get to finishing Radiant Dawn this week! ^^
Ah, and because I like proving my sister wrong, I lvled up Rolf on my latest retry instead of Shinon, and he's pretty damn good for someone so short and cute.

HAHAHA I thought he just got more muscley and crap XD Uhm, PoR you might be able to find in some stores pre-owned, it comes into my store sometimes but it's pretty expensive for a used game ($39.99 CDN I *think*). Micaiah didn't get any screen time in it, it just hints to her through Sothe, but just as someone who is like family and very important. Hahahaha omg Black Knight, that was brutal, you have to level Ike a lot for that, and level up Mist a lot T__________T and a lot of it is luck too AKA RESETS, AGHH!!! (just re-read my sentence, a lot, a lot, a lot, good grief I need a thesaurus).

Well, the gamestores over here suck butt ~_~ they have like 5 gamecube games for sale nowadays, so fat chance finding PoR T^T!!
actually, I did say I was going to finish RD in the last post, but I forgot I was planning to and started a new file. *v* -shot- this time for sure...! ....EEP, but right now, I'm playing a new file on FE7. (thisgirlneverlearns). I try and survive through the stage using only the female characters (and Eliwood DX blerg) it's quite amusing~ I got to play FE6 too~! *cough* through....secret means....on the netz. *cough* it's even betttaaaaar~ well, sort of.... (I like a lot more of the characters...)
OffTopic: I can't play Tales of Symph. a second time because my disc freezes everytime I get 5 mins into the game! And this started happening right after I finished it too. T^T I'm glad I got to finish it, at least, but it's been so long, I've forgotten a lot of the story and specific events......-weeps-

FE6 is the last FE game to not be translated and released in the US. It features Roy and his companions, it' actually the sequal to FE7. Eliwood is Roy's father. lol it's quite interesting the way those 2 came out. You can only get it through *coughromcough* I guess, I don't know if we're allowed to talk about those here? D= But either way, you also need a patch to go with it, because a translation patch has been completed already. Making the game that much easier to play. XD Roy is really such a nice guy, I got the totally wrong impression of what he might have been like in SSB!
I know it's tough keeping up with them all. ^^; I also got FE11 but it's in JPN. It's pretty good, for a remake of FE1, but there's a serious lack of rainbow-colored-hair people. XD
Eep, I would make him buy a new one!! DX
