oh i'm quite the Firefly fan. have the boxset for the tv series, the collector's edition of Serenity and i believe 4 of the 9 various covers for Serenity: Those Left Behind. i haven't gotten around to getting Serenity: Better Days yet though so yeah... anyways, i was introduced to it by my best friends and i've gotten at least my dad, stepmom, stepbrother and a few others hooked on it since. | ||

This is a great series. Must say I'm a huge Joss Whelan fan. So much world building and detail. So much fun.
It's sad the the potential wasn't fully realised. The TV show was great. I must say I was a little disappointed with Serenity. Not because it's not a good movie, it's great, but just because the interaction between the characters, the stories, etc, really were better suited to TV. Plus the mystery that is Book will remain closed. Anyone else think he was an agent sent after the Tams? One who changed his coat (for the better of course - our Firefly crew are the 'good guys' after all). |
