Fuan no TaneThought I´d do a recommendation of a manga I´ve sampled:
If you´ve watched Asian horror cinema, you know they have a knack for creating creepy and disturbing movies, but they´re also quite capable of creating creepy and disturbing manga. Case in point, "Fuan no Tane", a manga anthology of horror stories based on Japanese urban legends and the authors own experiences. The stories are only a few pages each, and the reactions they evoke range from simple "What? That´s all?" to "AAH! KILL IT! KILL IT!", certainly not stories you want to read before bedtime. To illustrate my point, here´re are a few choice examples:
Scared yet? The full manga can be read here: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/fuan_no_tane/v01/c000.0/1.html

After flesh box and Mai's daily life (maybe i have the title wrong on that one...) I didn't think manga could shock me or scare me.
This was pretty scary tho.
