Hello to Metal Gear Solid, Snake Eater and THE BOSS![b][i]Hey ladies,[/i][/b]
'Hello's' and warm hugs all round.
I remember playing 'Wonderboy' and a Disney game with Mickey Mouse many many years ago on what you call a uber-retro looking console, i remember playing Supermario on the Super Nintendo, i also remember the Dreamcast and the Nintendo 64. But my real gamers golden age was the 'Playstation' (yum). I was so lucky to have a brother who gave me access to all these games and even treated me as an equal opponent in all the battles we had from Street Fighter all the way to Tekken. But... my all time favourite game is the Metal Gear Solid series, i remember this beast of a game, the whole feel of the game was epic, such a well thought out piece of gaming i've ever seen. The art of this game is sublime... 'Metal Gear Solid' rules!. Then Metal Gear Solid 2; Sons of liberty took a weird twisted turn through philosophical mumble jumble about post internet-ism where it kinda lost its way until... Metal Gear Solid 3; Snake Eater... now this ladies is a MASTERPIECE!
Yes its a hugely male orientated game but what appealed to me about it was the quality of the game, as long as it entertains and tickles my fancy I've no need to say anymore... BUT... what i do want to shout about is...[b] 'THE BOSS'[/b]... She [i](yes 'She')[/i] is the first female character that has ever really took a effect on me, I've not met such a [i]divine, powerful[/i] but [i]humble[/i] female character such as her in the life i've played games. I've always scrutinized the way females have been portraid in numerous games, but [b]THE BOSS[/b]... is flawless in my eyes and my mind.
I do wonder, has anybody played this game 'Metal Gear Solid 3; Snake Eater'? and have any thoughts about THE BOSS? I haven't picked up my joypad for some quality time now because im trying to kickstart my career in London, UK. and i was wondering if anybody has come across a female character like THE BOSS?
