Meh. The current generation videogames are still stupidly expensive here in Brazil, thanks to the "tax for protection of the national industry".
You can get an X360 here for about 1200 Reais which, I believe, is about 500 dollars. If you want an Elite one, then about 700 dollars. Don't ask about the prices of the games. =P |

Oh my God!!! If that's how much an Elite cost, I'm scaried to imagine the price of a 80gig PS3! 
You need to take a quick vacation to the states and load up on some games! I often have customers from Germany and Brazil coming into my store loading up on games, That explains alot then. |

I think on the next adset week for Circuit City, when you purchase a xbox360 20gb, you'll get a 30 dollar gift card for free. Random little fact.
And if you haven't heard, they're releasing a 60gb 360 for $349.99. I don't understand why the core is still available. |

Yeah, you get a 120 trade in credit for the xbox 360 itself and when you add that credit to the 60 gb it comes out to $258 I had a customer do that today at the Gamestop I work. It just that since they live in Mexico they don't have 60gb and they cost more too. So he went home happy. Im going to buy another one but this time for myself. I can so play online for hours If I didn't have to work. That's it im quiting my job just to play. Ha, Nah. Im kidding. But, yeah the core who knows why its still around. An at that price, shit....... Might as well get a refurb used system for $199.99 |
