HookahI know some of you know already since you follow me on FB and/or Twitter but my friend got me into hookah a bit back and since then, I've bought my own and wouldn't mind getting a larger/taller one in the future when I have the spare cash.
It's just a bit weird because I was so very anti anything that had to do with smoking, whether it was cigarettes, cigars, weed, crack or what have you. I remember I pissed my mom off pretty well the one time I tried to hide her cigarettes 'for her own good'.
The thing is, I love things that tickle my sense of taste, and since shisha smoke does actually have a flavor, I found myself liking it the more I puffed away. I was also pretty surprised I didn't have a coughing fit on my first hit and surprised my coworkers by blowing it out my nose 'like a pro'.
Of course, as much as I like it, I'm trying not to go too overboard with it. I know it's still bad as smoking cigarettes so I try to keep it to a weekend thing to defrag from the work week but it gets tempting to start up a bowl in the middle of the week sometimes. I like it being a social 'everyone hang out and BS' thing though so I resist. I'd say I favor it to going out to drink just because it's hella cheaper than ordering shots all night, especially since I have my own hookah and shisha, and people don't get all messed up like they would if they drank too much.
Anyhow, just felt like blabbing about that a bit. Now...back to smoke ring training... LOL!

Hookah smoking is pretty darned popular in my area. Fine by me, less social security to share later on...

Never heard of it until you posted about this on Twitter. I'm already hooked on caffeine so I shouldn't introduce something new to my system, though. Or my wallet.

lol That's cold!... but funny.  I've never heard of this hookah stuff either. I used to smoke mj and drink and all that but that was ages ago when I was 12 (no lie). I moved on from it though. I just prefer being in total control of myself. Whatever floats your boat though.

mmm I like hookah as well, so many flavors to try  My favorite so far is apple.
