Impressive games?I made a topic on here when I joined about recommendation for games for the DS, as I was getting one of Christmas and also buying my girlfriend one. I can say now, that me and my girlfriend a couple of evenings ago thought 'Fuck it!' and opened them early. Just because we are naughty like that.
I've been playing (and so has she on hers) The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the past day or so and I'm really impressed by it! I love the way it gets the best possible use out of the stylus and the graphics are pretty decent too. The story is a likeable one plus it's an overall entertaining game.
I just wanted to share how pleased I was with the game as it's been a while since I've played a game that I was impressed with.
If you've played it, how did you find it? And/or, what's a game recently that you've really been impressed by?

I was very impressed recently with Stranglehold on the PS3 and also Heavenly Sword on the PS3.
My favorite game on the DS is definitely Puzzle Quest.. I LOVE IT! It is a BRILLIANT game, if you don't have it yet, please go buy it. It's unbelievably addictive.

I just got Geometry Wars: Galaxies on the DS and I'm loving it. But then again, i have this unnatural obsessions with Geometry Wars on the 360, so.....might want to get a second opinion on that one.
Another game for the DS I really loved was Lunar Knights. Very cool little RPG. It has vampires in space, you can't go wrong.
Oh and of course Puzzle Quest. Haven't been playing it as much on the DS since the 360 version came out, but still a great DS title.
How about a rematch, Gadget?

One of the most memorable games I've played in a long time was Shadow of the Colossus. It was just such a different experience for a video game. I had to play it at a friend's house because I don't have a ps2 anymore, and I still got lonely. The only living characters for most of the game are you and your horse, and the landscape was so epic yet barren. It was just a surreal experience.
