Interviewing with...I just my phone interview with NINTENDO and just felt like we could do with an interview thread for whatever reason, LOL.
Generally, I'd like to think I do pretty well in interviews. I think there's only been one job that I interviewed for where I didn't get it, and that was mostly due to time constraints since I was in school at the time. I think I have to thank my parents for making me do hula for so long. If you can stand in front of audiences in just a grass skirt, coconut bra and shake your booty at them, you can handle the pressure of an interview, LOL.
Anyhow, I'm hoping my interview with Nintendo went well. I got a bit of a chuckle/cringe out of the guy when I brought up the Virtual Boy. It was one of the few systems I hadn't owned, along with the Wii and GameBoy Advance, and I was trying to illustrate how excited I'd be if I got to work for Nintendo. Honestly, what (grown up) kid wouldn't?
Only thing that would suck about it is the possibility that I'd have to resign from Apple since they do kinda consider them to be a competitor within the retail market, so I'd lose my discount there.  Kind of a small but somewhat significant sacrifice in my book since I'd want to use more of their products later on. *sigh* Ah well. Let's see if I get the position first! *positive thoughts*

Interviews dont bother me..at first lol. Im always so anxious to just do it and then Im so relieved to have it out of the way. But then the longer it takes to hear back the less confidence I have that I did well in the interview. Right after the interview if someone asks me how I did I'll tell them great! Give it a couple days and my answer gets less and less optimistic lol. Im actually currently waiting for some interview results.. I NEED this job >.< I hope u get the job offer! =D

Thats how I am too!! I usually feel very confident right after the interview that I have the job...then when they havent called I start to wonder...what did I do?? But like nekotine I've only ever not gotten one job I interviewed for and that was cause the two managers apparently didnt talk to one another and one of them hired someone before I was even interviewed. Ha.
I actually just recently interviewed within my own company for the lead of my department and got it! Woohoo!!! So *crosses fingers* maybe this is both of our months for luck nekotine! Lol! Good Luck!!

I totally feel you. Neko knows how I've been on the job hunt. I hope you get Nintendo. That would rock. I'm still waiting to go back to my hotel in SF.
I think I botched up the interview with Fuzio that I had the other day. The guy was like, "Well... if you don't hear from us by Tuesday, that means we went in another direction." I think I heard a "Fail" chime in the background.

Well I wish I could get an interview so I could get a job which would lead to me getting rid of this broke down ass laptop.
On the brighter side, Nekotine I hope you get the job. Don't see a reason as to why you wouldn't.

Blizzard is looking for GMs if anyone's interested in going to Irvine, CA. LOL The perks to that company look awesome. (3 free accounts?! Why the hell would you need 3 World of Warcraft full accounts??? But they're free!)
There's also a lot of positions opening up for Console MMO programmers and testers. Sounds like Blizzard wants to move into the Nex-Gen Console competition.
I wanted to go for it, but I have this thing against moving away from Northern Cali....
