Jdrama suggestions

I'm totally in the mood to watch some Japanese or Korean dramas but I'm stumped- I don't know any good ones. Any suggestions?

Lets see ones I've enjoyed in the past are Hana yori Dango, Hanakimi, Utsukushi jinsei... drawing a blank on some of the others :s   I just downloaded nobuta o produce but havent watched it yet.  So, any suggestions on must see dramas?  (I prefer more recent ones over older ones)

Hmm...newest things I've watched as far as j-dramas go are Osen and Seigi no Mikata, and for k-dramas it'd be Gourmet and Coffee Prince.

Yes, I love drama that center on FOOD. XD

Hmm! I quite like J-dramas.  Mostly cause they're short.  Based on what you've watched, (Except for Utsukushi jinsei, which I don't know) I think you would like Nodame no Cantabile.  Do you prefer watching dramas that have more anime qualities? Hanakimi falls into that category, and Hana Yori Dango does a little, as well.  Nodame no Cantabile definitely has anime qualities...the physical comedies and facial expressions.

I really like Orange Days, Long Vacation, Pride, Good Luck!, and Great Teacher Onizuka.  Everything except for the latter are pretty slow moving, though, and I believe they are more catered to non-teenagers as opposed to stuff like Hanakimi.  I do believe that ANYONE would love Great Teacher Onizuka, though.  And if you like that, you should also try Gokusen, which is kinda similar (but not as good, I think).
