Lanuage filter in World of WarcraftI dunno about you other WoW players, but I just can't stand to see little boys use the word "rape" when they describe what happens in a game (e.g. "We totally raped that guy bro lolol"), and since the GMs couldn't give less of a shit about the female playerbase, I like most other people who are bothered by this, activated the language filter, only to see that the word "rape" wasn't something they felt needed to be censored even though the word is constantly abused and trivialized.
So, I contacted Customer Service through email, and told me to direct my problem to the Suggestion Forum. I can't tell if they are being dismissive or not, but anyway, I can't post on the forums because I was permabanned from the forums a year ago. I'd love to make up a story about why, like maybe my brother found out my password and purposely got me banned, but no, I just trolled way too much and the mods finally caught up to me.
So, I think you all know what I'm going to ask... if someone could make a thread on the Suggestion Forum, and other lady gamers could post in it agreeing that it is indeed disheartening and horrifying that they didn't feel it was a word that needed to be censored, I think we could get it added to the filter.
