OH YEAH! Sometimes the AI is a bit stupid..but they're zombies so of course they're stupid! 
It's so very 28 days later and so very much EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be. Since it's Valve it's stable as hell which is better than I can say for fo3. >_< Found you! At least I hope it's you. I'm just guessing 'cause the person I found likes to play as engineer and for some reason "someone's sappin' ma sentry" sounds like something you'd say. |

I dunno, dude. The AI Director was being pretty mean to us a few times on normal. Sent zombie zergs from all entrances, plus a boomer and a Smoker. And DAMN but those Smokers are frickin' snipers with their tongues! Weapons are standard but hot damn am I happy that the pistols aren't useless in this game. Granted, I've been able to make due with a pistol a few times on TF2 but L4D really makes it worthwhile, I figure because you'll likely end up running out of ammo for your 'main' weapon at some point. The only way I stopped running out of main ammo was when I stopped using it for anything BUT the huge zombie zerg rushes. Works out pretty well. But yeah, I'm most definitely having fun with just the demo. My friends and I played it through quite a few times already and they've never been exactly the same. I LOVE it! And of course, while playing it for the first time today, I HAD to wear my Resident Evil 'Zombie Repellent' shirt (except mine is black lettering on a red t-shirt) while playing. XD And yeah, you found me, fremen. XD I was really obsessed with playing engineer for a while but I started mixing it up a bit towards the end. LOL I'll totally have to say that when we get to game together some time! XD |

I took my daughter to the mall after picking her up from school, 5 hours later it was getting cold and, being a father, I forgot to bring any warm clothes so I told her we needed to get home before it got dark and Zombies started coming out (which would be tramatizing to say to most 4 year olds I would guess) and then she said we were pretend zombies and we had to get home to infect mommy.
Sure enough she did gnaw on her arm after getting through the door, then running and "rawr"ing. Anyways the L4D content update drops pretty soon, and either way it's a freaking good game. |

Hey, I haven't been on this forum in a whiiiiiiiile but I do enjoy some Left 4 Dead. My Steam ID should be allar_is_god. I mean, that's what I log in with. Sometimes people have trouble friending me though so... yeah haha. I don't really know what's up.
Regardless, if you'd like someone to play a couple missions with (probably on advanced) just add me . I generally play with my girlfriend so other gay girls (or just open-minded people!!) are appreciated.

Now that the DLC is out.. ..how many actually like survival mode?
I enjoy it but find I wind up in matches with a bunch of.. ..idiots to say the least. I still enjoy the campaigns more -- still working on my What are you trying to prove achievement but for some reason steam does not recognize that I've beat No Mercy and Death Toll

I think Survival is pretty fun but my weak points are:
1) not really wanting to play with people I don't know because you don't know if they're going to be a douche bag one way or another, which sucks because 2) I end up not being home at the same time you guys or other people I know are playing. Just the other night, I started out playing with 3 friends on Expert and 1 fill-in. Unfortunately, we started pretty late in the evening and 1 bounced out about halfway through the campaign. The first fill-in, who was actually pretty nice and decent, ended up lagging out and so I was left with 2 new fill-ins, one who kept trying to Cr0wn witches even though we could sneak right past them just fine, and the other ended up taking a shotgun to us right after taking down the second tank because 'I've already beating all these fucking campaigns on Expert and I just like making it harder for other people to do the same.' So yeah...my one venture into a Pick-Up group was less than thrilling. I hate to judge the majority based on one experience but there's just way too much risk of assholery in a game that's supposed to be co--op and fun. It hasn't killed the game for me completely, just made everyone I don't know as a friend or a friend of a friend a potential asshat.

I think in general playing any mode with Nekotine or Petra or Fubar is p. awesome. Playing with random douchebags on the internet is a mixed bag. Haven't tried survivor mode yet. | ||||
