Mac User HelpHola people,
I'm in abit of fix, a couple of days ago I installed over 3000 fonts on my macbook pro. Right after it, firefox started messing up fonts and I essentially figured out that some of the fonts installed where the main cause. Obviously the next thing I did was to find the problematic fonts and delete but also in the process, I deleted some majorly needed fonts.
Could someone please send me the following fonts arial, arial black, georgia, times, tahoma, impact.
Pretty please, I can't even test my web projects properly as they're rendering in totally crazy fonts!!

Hmm...have you tried putting the install disc into your computer then opening up Font Book? That's the best I could think of... Don't suppose your Mac is still under AppleCare? LOL

Do macs have restore points? that's what I'd do on a PC.

Us Mac users have Time Machine, IF you have backed up to a external hard drive.
Those is what we use to restore information we have lost..

You have to actually alter the fabric of time/space in order to get your computer working again? That's insane! Of course if you run into a really bad problem I guess you could set off a nuke over the energy spots in your mac.

^^ lmao!
actually yes...
When the Mac OS X goes into Time Machine mode to restore it, you are able to look at what your computer looked like on any given day/time..and be able to look and pull a file..and restore it..
its pretty cool..
I have deleted any pictures of Jughead on my mac..lol..

As Vitality said, Time Machine will allow you to reach back to previous back ups and ONLY retrieve the items you deleted if you choose to. I wasn't sure if vou was using Leopard/Time Machine though so I didn't think to suggest it. Silly me, LOL.
