IGN has posted an article listing the things they´d like fixed/changed in the sequel, and while I agree with their list, I´d also like to see the ability to seduce every character in the game (well, perhaps just the human(oid) ones, no girl-on-krogan action for me, thank you very much) instead of being limited to Liara if you´re playing as female Shepard, and in extension I´d like to see some actual romancing dialogue, I´ve only played as female Shepard, but you only really had to check up on Liara every now and then to make her fall for you, how about having the dialogue choice of complimenting the target character and asking him/her(/it?) out? With the game putting so much emphasis on moral choices and human traits, the romancing subquest just seems superficial.

kill the film grain effect (yes you can kill it manually, but ugh) and fix the shadowing pls! Also fix the character creation (jeez at least let me spin the character around) annd let us be cute aliens who dont have much truck for gender.

I wish there was more to the planet exploration. It kinda sucked that all the bases were the same, and it made it really boring. Half of the time I didn't even wanna go explore the planets.

Ugh, and the MAKO... if I have to drive that thing up another 90 degree hill again- I just don't know Evil or Very Mad

The vehicle part of the game sucked, and I tried my hardest to make that stupid car flip "grrr"
Agree on the whole exploration part, all the bases was so extemely similar that you could almost play them with your eyes closed,,,

That said I lurv Mass effect ^^

oh god the vehicle. hated that thing. would also like to be able to continue the game once the main quest lines done. I know you can use your character to play again from the beginning but i accidentally went to the end with hardly any side quests done. Annoying as hell

I just finished first part after two days of non-stop play (flexible working hours really came in handy for this:)), and I can't wait for more. This is by far one of the best games I have ever played. As for part two, I do really hope they think of some improvements for MAKO parts, and I second the wish for the possibility to continue playing at least some planets after the game's end. I was really interested to see how the story would fold out so I followed the main quest on a pretty straight line. I also ended up finishing the game with pretty much all assignments open. Plus, for my little cousin who loves her some yaoi, I think a possibility of m/m romance would be great too.

PS: I did play this game on the PC, but I couldn't find a thread for ME2 in PC forum, hence my posting here. It is pretty much the same game after all. Smile

I loved this game too. In fact I'm thinking of returning to the Veteran Mode game I never finished, and I haven't downloaded the DLC new mission.

I've not finished the game, but I second all the comments about the truck parts, and about all the bases being the same.

I was also wondering, if a mission is up in your journal, will you always get to play it, or will playing other missions move the story on to the extent that you won't get the chance? You've said that if you finish the game, you don't get to go back to the optional missions, but are you free to do the missions in any order up to that point?

I think the order only affects the outcome of two events. One is Wrex, whether you get his armor for him affects how he responds in another mission. The other has to do with choosing a soldier in a team that results in losing one of the members. Those are the only two I remember that somewhat affect other missions, but aside from that I think you can do things in any order.

I'd love to see them make your crew not follow you so closely. I wanted to shoot Kaiden for getting my stuck in a corner. or when walking along the walkways at the embassy, getting stuck for no reason if you walked to closely to a bench. More beta testing please! ( don't tell me I'm the only loser that has had that happen)

I think it is a requirement to hate Kaiden, might even be written somewhere in the manual =p

I like my men confident and manly, not like boo-hoo Kaiden and boo-hoo Carth. Wait, did I just say that? Wink

It did take some time to realize that Kaiden is a good person which I like, at first I was turned off (whats with the sexual innuendo?!) by his sobbering stories, but then I found a place for him in my heart. <3 More character development than garrus could ever pull out of his ass, even if he was cooler to begin with.
