Need a Lesbian Gadget Identifier?Well, I am new to this I am use to talking to the guys about gadgets and stuff and then I stumble upon this site and well I like it so far but any who. My question is this, does anyone know of a gadget or item that identifies you as a lesbian that only a lesbian can detect?. I am out to some people but I don't want people getting all up in my business about my sexual preference. So can anyone help me with that. It could be a device or a necklace or rings or something like that. But nothing with rainbows, cause honestly I don't like them.

This reminds me of the episode of the office where Jim convinces Dwight that there is such a thing as gaydar and then says he bought him a handheld gaydar unit, but it's actually just a handheld metal detector.
At any rate I think prop. 8 supporters are working on a law where gays and lesbians are required to wear sewn patches on their clothing and need to apply for permits ahead of time to move across state lines.

There was a big movement about wearing a purple string of yarn on the wrist. I know one wrist signified single and one taken. I don't know which is which but I have never seen anyone wearing one either.

That reminds me of the Live Strong + other armbands thing. Seems like its pretty much done.

I think that was also the way bandanas were done back in the 80s, but it depends on which back pocket it was hanging out of...lol
As for a actual symbol for our "gay-dar" for each other...meh..its 2009, if the crowd your hanging with cant be trusted with this about you, I suggest you find a new crowd hon, they don`t sound safe at all for even a straight person.
But back in my day of playing the field or finding gay friends, my "gay-dar" always homed in on female attention above the norm, with a quick question of "are you family...?" if they knew what that meant, then its on! if they didnt and you had to explain...laugh it off and change the subject.
thats the only real gadget I knew/know of.
PS: yes I`m a OCGG - Old Crone Gamer Geek - 46 this Oct.
