Whoo! Tickets are BOUGHT! Wow, the show closest to me actually sold out the first day for the section we were trying to get so we had to get them for the show a bit further away but that's fine with me. So long as I get to see my bands! SO EXCITED! And I guess since we got the expensive seats, we get a free d/l of some sort from No Doubt! Too sweet! | ||

I'm bought tickets for my gf Lisa on 6-10 for her birthday 4-17....by then we will just have had our 2yrs anninversary.
Any ideas of a creative way to give her the tickets??? I don't want to just put them in a card of wrap them. |

i bought my last flatmates gig tickets for christmas, and since we always left chalk messages for eachother on our fridge, i stuck them on the fridge and left a message for them to discover later

So the tickets are for June but her birthday is in April? Did you actually want to give her the tickets the day of her birthday or can you wait? Here's some suggestions but some are better for the day of the concert. You can pretend that you couldn't buy the tickets and draw/make your own tickets for the concert but then when she opens her card/gift, the real tickets are inside? Or tell her you've got a surprise for her but you gotta drive to it, blindfold her (maybe even put earplugs/phones in so she can't hear either) then drive her to the concert, then choose the moment to take the blindfold off. Or wake her up in the morning with a nice breakfast in bed, and if she's a newspaper reader, you can have them taped to the front page, possibly with a fake article of it being the main event of your anniversary or something. If not, after she's done with breakfast, tell her to take a shower then have the tickets taped to her shampoo/conditioner/soap bottle in a plastic ziploc bag. Or if you have a good bathtub that she can can soak in, set it up with bubbles, roses and candles and use the bubbles to hide the plastic ziploc bag. LOL...I'm so cheesy. WTF do I come up with these ideas... |

Now you have me thinking to suprise her with the tickets. Since the concert is in VA Beach I could just say were going to spend the day at the beach. Then around the time of the concert just drive there. Hopefully she won't be taking summer classes. Damn decisions.....decisions. LOL I was orginally going to give her the Sims 3 for our 2yr anniversary. Sims 3 comes out the 2nd and the 7th is our anniversary. I could just be the best gf ever and give her the Sims 3 on the 7th and suprise her on the 10th. That just means then I need a new birthday gift for her. |

I'm going on June 10th with my gf.
She took of work that day but doesn't know where we are going. I'm going to prolly put them in a card or envelope and have her open when almost there. I got her Sims 3 for her bday. I have a picture frame and necklace for our 2yr on the 7th. EDIT: Well my gf just called at work and said she couldn't get the day off. So I ended up having to tell her she miss the concert. I got off the phone and she called back to tell me her boss will see what she can do. My gf needs her beauty sleep and to come home late from a concert 2 hours away to be AT work at 6am wouldn't work for her. |

I'm going to the one in Phoenix on the 23rd and it's about 2 hours away. Leaving early to get a hotel and stuff though. Seats could be way better but we're row SS and I'm seat 16 so it shouldn't be too bad! |
