I'm playing on Moon Guard these days where my highest is a lvl 23 hunter, (Named Karramis). I have a lvl 70 warlock and a bunch of alts on Ice Crown as well, but my best friend started playing on Moon Guard so I moved too. We're not guilded there though,
I'm also playing Lord of the Rings Online, as Margali on the Gladden server. I have too much free time so I play online games alot. But I get tired of them quickly and hop to a different one only to hop back later. So if you see a Margali in game, say "Hi", it's probably me. |

I have it sitting on my shelf for my Mac as well and I haven't opened it. I know it's insane, I know that I'd love it, but I'm so busy console gaming that I feel if I did get into it I would totally never get to do anything else. How many gay and lesbian friendly guilds are there? Do you guys have a big community on there? |

I would seriously play WoW, if I wasn't such a shy person. Even online I still have a little difficulty talking to people.  That, and the random a-holes out there who give newbies a hard time kinda push me away.
But if there's a decent LGBT community on there, I would love to give it a try. |

Well it depends on which server you play on. Proudmoore is the unofficial LGBT Server with about 4 LGBT guilds, two I know of (one Alliance one Horde, so all characters can choose one). I've mentioned the Alliance one on my original post, but the Horde is called Taint (Originally "The Spreading Taint"), http://taint.dkpsystem.com/. They have an alliance with stonewall champions, and both guilds have a policy of non-discrimination. Additionally all guild members do help new people to the game (noobs/newbies), with help and advice. So basically come join us, even if its to have a look (if you play alliance on proudmoore just type "/join stonechat" and you can join our open chat channel and you will be treated as a non-raiding member (raiding is something for max level players with very good gear (lots of work)) Cheers, Jessica |

I'm not aware of any LGBT guilds on the servers I play on, but then, I've never really looked either. In the guilds I've joined I've always been very open about being a big 'ole dyke and a pervy one at that. I've never had a negative reaction in a game although I have had a very few negative comments on gaming message boards.
Perhaps I've been lucky? I've certainly run into my share of jerks and morons, but that's what ignore lists are for. |

I'm a VERY pervy bisexual, meself.Re: GLBTQ guilds - My main server is Earthen Ring, and they're an RP server, which means (in theory) less idiocy in chat. (There's still plenty of idiocy, but not as much as some of the PvP servers.) They have a guild named Faabulous (yes, with 2 As) that's a GLBTQA guild. One of my alts belongs to it. My main (lvl 35... see below) belongs to <Is Serious Business>. I'm out about being bi and poly and kinky, and I get "harassed" for it, but everyone gets harassed for everything, whether it's true or not, in my guild. It's a loving joking "harassment"... it's the way we bond. We throw trash talk at each other like it's going out of style. My guild does everything but take itself seriously... which is a needed thing on a server like ER (people take the game a bit too seriously on ER. It's hard to have a guild with a funny name because people are always reporting them as being "inappropriate". Hell, someone reported <Panty Raiders>, a raiding guild of a friend of mine.) My alts on ER belong to a number of guilds, including my last main guild for Ria, The Velvet Harlots of Azeroth. I believe I was out there and noone ever gave me any crap for it. We were known for our naked streaking through Stormwind, advertising our co-ed naked dance parties in the inn in Goldshire. We played hard and worked hard and helped each other out. And our guild mistress was a woman. (note "was". She handed over control to the husband of one of our other higher ups and the guild changed, which is why I'm no longer a part.) I also have 2 toons on Ysondre, a PvP server (they were up while Blizz was doing that 3 day server down outage, so I created toons on there), a lvl 12 male Blood Elf priest named Thalanos who belongs to a guild called <Server Down Syndrom> (yes, no E), and a lvl 19 female Blood Elf hunter named Alisaris whom I'm going to make into a twink. (Note to self: make twinks on servers where you have friends to help fund you. Twinking doesn't go well when you don't have any money to buy twink gear with.) I'm looking for a guild for her. Below is a list of all of my toons, in rough order of how much I play them. When I played, I played mostly with IRL friends so I never really searched for any LGBT friendly servers or guilds. I played on Proudmoore at first and got my Night Elf Hunter, Tyrella, up to lvl 57 but when my two friends dropped from the game, I moved to Malygoes and started a Human Mage, Trystia, who I managed to get to 60 before Burning Crusade came out and the level cap got raised. Had a few alts inbetween but those were my mains. Left for a few months since I was getting pretty sick of the grind/farm/raid busines Came back for about a month after Burning Crusade came out but just...couldn't stay with it. | ||||||||

I'm a newbie to WoW, I have a couple of toons on different server, but I kind of settled in Aerial Peak with a hunter. I don't have Burning Crusade, I'm actually still with the original one.
I thought I was the only one with that kind of "problem"! I always solo just because I'm too shy to get with people, in fear of screwing up or coming off as a total noob. It's silly, I know lol. |

My name is Renee and I play WOW. *sits down*That out of the way, I've had numerous characters, but I have alt syndrome, so my highest is my level 60 tauren druid on Shadow Council. I have so many alts, I'll just mention her and my level 24 tauren shaman I have on Earthen Ring. There's also the 28 Blood Elf hunter, and my flamboyantly gay blood elf mage (I think he was 23), but haven't played them recently. That aside, all my characters pretty much are on Shadow Council or Earthen Ring, and I'd like a decent Earthen Ring guild for my shaman. Socially-based is a plus. Just looking for a guild that quests and has fun together pretty much.
What side is Faabulous on? I've got a character I've been working on that's on Earthen Ring and I've been looking for a good guild, but I'm ALWAYS horde. Tried alliance once or twice and I just couldn't do it. |

I've in fact come to LG in hopes to find other WoW junkies. I run a guild that is not LGBT only, but VERY LGBT supportive. As a lesbian and resident hard ass of Guardians of Light, I have to say that we accept all kinds and reject only those with immature attitudes and ignorant beliefs. We are highly supportive of new players as well as the veterans of WoW. We also have a +18 recruitment policy, as we've had only negative experience with under 18, with rare exceptions. We have a bank system that supports 11 guild vaults. (that's right not 1, but 11. 1 main and 10 subguild storage vaults) Guild Rank rewards of Tabards and Mounts with training. (more to come) Detailed forums, with game guides, tips, and personal expression. WoWRoster which gives you tools to view your quests (with info links), other member's quests, and list members on your quests. As well as searching and browsing items made and enchanted by other members. You can also view your recipes, and lookup info on the ones you are missing. I really think new WoW gamers would feel comfortable here, as we provide alot of game info, and have very helpful and polite members. You wont hear the word "noob" here, unless I'm on a rant about punk hippocrates that use that word. lol You can check out the website from my profile link. My main servers is Thunderlord with Nimui, Lvl 70 NE Druid as my main and a whole host of alts. Oh, and guild I"m in (Schizm)is great and they're working on SSC/TK. Have Kara, etc..on farm. I haven't had much time lately to raid, but do enjoy it. I also have toons on Lightening Hoof and Duskwood. I'd could be up for creating a toon to play with other dykes... Proudmoore...i presume Horde based on Stabbetty's sig... Coilfang? And are these PVP? RP? PVE? i'm fine with any of those... |

Well people talk smack about BM but in pvp you'll need it or warlocks, and other "fearing" class abilities will toast you.
It's embarrassing to allow a lock 10 levels lower than you waste you. With BM you get "Bestial Wrath", which neither you, or your pet, can be feared, stunned, slowed, or otherwise stopped unless by death lol Like a hunter berserker mode. We do need some Healers though. BTW we use Webroster, which is more likely to be more accurate than Armory. Armory gets updated whenever they feel like it I think. WebRoster will update every time you leave WoW. (if you have it setup) btw Webroster is how my Sig works As for Raids we are working one getting enough for the larger 70 raids. We do have a "Guild Raid" night and do some world raid stuff and horde city raids. We've taken down Omen of the Lunar Festival a few times already this month. We have a scheduling system for instancing and soon raid instances. It's in game and website calender of events. This let's people have a time to meet to do instances they need. |

Yay for WarcraftHi everyone!I just joined the forums, since my server is STILL down for maintenance, which is quite annoying. I play on Whisperwind, a PVE server, and my mains are Bokertov, a lvl 70 gnome warlock and Lchaim, a lvl 70 dwarf hunter. I raid often with them (today I'm supposed to be raiding in Zul'aman in an hour, but the server is down). I actually joined the server to play with my one friend, but he went to Altar of Storms shortly after i hit 70. So I also have a lvl 20 lock there, called Mamzer. My lock is actually co-leading a guild that is trying to get enough people to raid Kara, and my hunter is in a guild that is trying out Lurker in SSC right now. I have a bunch of other toons on Whisperwind, but none of them are over 20, and the one I spend the most time on, is my bank toon. Um...I like short races, and I don't have many horde toons since they are all too tall. I like trolls though for some reason... My fav lvl 70 instance is Shadow Labs, and my fav. lower level instance is Zul'Farrak. |

Hey all, I joined not too long ago but haven't gotten around to posting til now.
I currently play on Velen server, Alliance side (transferred there from another server with some friends. BIG mistake) As far as toons go, I have: lvl 70 NE hunter called Beñson. lvl 67 human lock Maeleficent Various low level alts that are mostly either for storage, gathering, or the occasional PvP twink. I'm in a guild right now called Fast Action Guys...which isn't lgbt centric, as far as I know, my gf and I are the only gay people in the guild. (Something I've grown accustomed to, being the token guild 'gay' person /sigh) Right now, both my gf and I are pretty frustrated with the server we're on and with the guild we're in. We have enough people to push into 25 man content but a good third of the guild are 12 to 15 year old boys who are...to put it nicely, highly immature. The guild leadership keeps claiming that these kids will get removed but it's yet to happen. The only thing keeping us from /gquitting are our friends who transferred with us. We both keep toying with the idea of paying to transfer somewhere but we don't really know where to go at this point. |

Blizzard certainly seems uptight about it. I used to belong to an LGBT guild in Lord of the Rings Online that advertises all the time on the official forums with no problems. I've also never heard of a problem in Guild Wars. What's Blizzard's problem?

Ok, I'm a lesbian gm of a just into BT/Hyjal guild (for those who don't WoW it up, thats player vs environment high end). And I get allot of from folks on my server, they ether pick on my sex or sexuality. For a while breaking the Vashj and Kael wall all I got was "go back to the kitchen and stop raid leading," "learn to like dick dyke" or "carpet muncher." ( <- the one I personally still laugh the hardest at) From other guild's members who we were doing better then. Now I waist my time and report every one of these kids to a Game Master, But that just gives them more fuel.
The thing with wow is a six year old given enough time could play the game, it's made to be pretty simple and have lots of instant gratification. So you get way to many little boys who play the game who's parental units didn't teach them basic things like "manners" yet. So the basic way around it is running a guild with an age requirement, I've got a friendly crew, who when some one starts this crap laughs at them and defends me, my partner and a couple other lesbians in the guild. But from what I've found on WoW is it's typically hostile. Guys don't flip about lesbians too often, most the time you all know what they are thinking. Once our novelty where's off it's normally bubye. I tried to run a lgbt guild on my alliance toons but found it to be a less then fun experiences to the the G B & T being the most common, and also way way way way way to many drama queens. Having a guild thats friendly too it seems to work better. A mix of people tends to keep the drama in check, and it's not alliance : P Although I have found it funny to report every one who says something sexually offensive in trade channel when I'm in a really bad mood, got a Game Master to apologize for the fathers of the current generation. |

I've been playing on Twisting Nether(EU)/Horde for 2 years and I'm one of the formers of an endgame guild, I have a 70 Undead Rogue which is s3 geared, 70 Troll Hunter with lovely Bt gear (= and three more 70s on several realms..
When a newbie comes to our guild he/she always kinda stuck at guildchat/vent when I talked or when a friend of mine tells my name,then the casual silence appears in gchat/vent then my guildies and me burst out laughing to the guy/gal (= Indeed the most enjoyable part is when they learn that my partner is also on the server playing with me,I always get this response : *omg you are a girl too and yet you play wow,why oh why you have to be lesbians!* Well I can only say kek to those (= There are/were and will be some casual questions and noobish responses that how can I be a pve/pvper or even how can I play wow ? Its been always the same so simply you can just beat them outside Orgrimmar or show some videos of your bosskills or you can just get a popcorn and enjoy the drama that you cause /giggle We have a few more girls in the guild too,though I only speak with one of them cause others have some serious problems with jealousy (= However I guess I'm lucky because I've been playing with these guys from the beginning of the server, and knowing ~10 of them in irl really helps to solve incoming noobish/insulting comments. They know I have a lovely partner and they know how can I be a pain in the a.. when I'm pissed off Oh by the way we were really bored a few weeks ago and a friend of mine was begging for me to create a new char on Alliance side so I rolled a gorgeous NE Rog on his server and dinged 70.So far I only have one noob in my ignore list because he kissed my girl ! bur
Finally,after playing on both sides, I can proudly say that noobs/homophobiacs/or simply the ones who have no idea how to enjoy their lives are everywhere. Just enjoy your time while playing Wow and bring your girlfriend/partner to Wow too so you can laugh in irl to these kind of human beings (!) ^^ |

I've been playing on this toon for about 4 years and I still haven't reached 70. I only play at my brothers place, so that's not much time to quest & instance. I just recently quit my guild because it's always empty, so I realized what's the difference in being in an empty guild and no guild? Absolutely no difference. I'm a fire PVE mage, but that doesn't stop me from killing people on AV. If anyone's on Uldum server, pst me and maybe we can play together. =) |

RPPVP ???Does anyone have experience with the RPPVP servers? I found it difficult to see the difference between the pvp and rppvp. I know what it's supposed to be, but if anyone has some experience, i'd like to here it.

RPPvP = Roleplay, Player vs Player Basically it's a roleplaying server (the ones that everyone makes fun of because they actually RP) with PvP server rules. So while ganking someone you should be sure to shout out 'For the Horde!' 
To be honest, the population on RP servers is fairly low from what I can gather and RP PvP even less so, so unless you REALLY love RP and PvP, I'd avoid them. |

I have a confession to make.
When I'm on my bank toon, I yell Hot Pockets all the time...and I mean ALL the time. Scanning that Auction House sometimes takes 13 minutes. That's 13 minutes of me yelling Hot Pockets. On my 70s, I use a macro where I spam the word trade in a wave pattern in my guild raids, like so: trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade trade I'll also start the Murloc Movie spam in trade. Sometimes, I change it up with Murloc video games, like Super Mario Murlocs, or Grand Theft Murloc 3: Bluegill Coast. I'll ask for people to price check my conjured mage food or soulstones. I let my guild now when I have to go pee. I give my pocket enchanter food when I send him stuff to d/e for me. Usually it's not cooked. I blame all of these things on being over caffeinated, but really, I just find them amusing. |

so the only difference between the RPPVP servers and the PVP servers is that people are 'supposedly' RPing. I've tried a couple RP servers, but couldn't get into it. You run into people who take 3 hours to get from Goldshire to Westfall because they're WALKING. Seriously walking... the entire way. Or setting up actual campfires. O_O I'd go nuts. |

I have a friend who likes to rp on a pve server. He's really more of an rp'er, but he wants to play with his wife. It's somewhat odd to see him trying to get his character's backstory out and about, and walk around to places.
I could never play on an rp server, pvp or otherwise. I have a hard enough time leveling toons because of the long period of having to walk, and not being able to run around. |

I ran one till last month, fairly high in progression, hit a wall with burn outs though and when the two biggest raiding guilds on the server needed people geared for sunwell and my partner and I... who ran the guild... took a week off to deal with buying a house, they ripped out a few of our best geared dpsers, and it all went down hill from there. We had a really high female population in the guild been bugging my friends about an all female horde raiding guild for a bit now But till WoLK drops My partner and I are just been cheap in arena on our alliance re-rolls: 
My partners pallywally, my shaman and my shamm-a-clones pretty welfare compared to our bt/hyjal priest and warrior team Q,Q Thinking of renaming my 5v5 to "One hit by a girl" or "omg hax no wai" and doing a pvp video ... but waiting till I have another two peaces of brutal... should be a couple weeks. as far as i know there's still no official release date, so all of it is just speculation. They are also planning on doing a patch similar to the one they did before BC with all the new talents in game, but none of the other new content, to give people somewhat of an idea of how the class balance is going to be come expansion day. ....however they've not said anything about when they're putting out that patch either. if you asked they'd probably give the dreaded "when it's done" response.

Hunters are getting a lot of really cool stuff in the expansion.
Petopia has all the info about how they're changing hunter pet skills and such. Don't have a hot belf chick for ya though... I only play tauren. My druid is a cutie though if you don't mind fur.
Also here's the new WotLK talents for hunters if you haven't looked at them yet. Of course it's all still subject to change since it's in beta still etcetc. |
