so the season premiere is tonight and hopefully my DVR is feeling kind enough to record it correctly and then later be kind enough to play it back without breaking down. </3 Comcast~ bleh, i really wish i didn't have to go into work but alas, the whole needing money thing...

so anyone else jazzed up about or at least interested in LOST still?

so even though there's no replies yet, i just have to say that i like the change that Lost has made to it's storytelling. instead of going back to everyone's past, now they're revealing little bits of the 'future'. it's definately an interesting twist if you ask me since they've pretty much blatantly said that... (**SPOILERS START HERE** if you haven't watched any of the new season yet, DO NOT highlight the following text unless you want to be spoiled. Very Happy

)...only 6 people made it off the island/are survivors of the crash of Oceanic flight 815. so far, four have been revealed (Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid), with a possible 5th (the deceased person Jack went to see at their very empty funeral at the end of season 3 but i highly doubt it since they said 2 more people are yet to be revealed...), as well as Ben, who has hired Sayid as a hitman. with only 2 other passengers to account for, you have to kind of hope it's Claire and her baby, Aaron, but who knows? it seems like perhaps they -will- actually make it off the island but maybe they'll have to return to it in order to finish whatever was set in motion.(**SPOILERS END**)

so i'm pretty interested in seeing where this season takes us! i have to admit, season 3 was kind Zzzz... so the new spin is rather refreshing. and it's good to know that there is a set ending to Lost so it won't be dragged on forever and ever. all good stories need an ending to them, open, closed or otherwise.

I watched all 4 seasons in 3 weeks, I was glued to my laptop and watched them ALL on abc.com

I find myself listening to Podcasts on iTunes to get my fix of lost until it comes back.

Ok. I know this is probably an old topic but I just wanted to point out something.

For those who have followed all the seasons, do you remember the first episode with Clair? Well.....

spoilers!!!:

In her introduction episode she tolled of a creepy fortune teller that says she MUST raise Aron. Other wise something catastrophic would happen. Now, going in to the current episodes the future tells of Cate and Jack taking care of Aron.
Also, if you go to lost official website you can see alternate endings to who was in the casket.

That was just something small I remembered and caught. Did anyone else catch that also? If you did catch that do you think they will build on that information in later seasons?

I know Claire hasn't been seen since "Cabin Fever". All theories are pointing to she is dead. I really hope not. We will have to wait and see..

so many ideas running through my head. That's why I love this show! It is soo outside the box.

on a side note

I can't wait for J.J Abrams version of Star Trek. I am not a trekkie but I am soo looking forward to his "vision" of this Sci-fi drama

Speaking of Star Trek, did you know I'm a computer animator? I've done work for a lot of small company's. One of the projects I did was called Star Trek New Voyages. This guy films his own episodes of Star Trek in his barn. So anyway, he had a guest star: George Takei who played Sulu in the original. So I got to meet him. It was really cool.

I am thinking about reading some of the books that have been referenced in the show. We have to wait a while for season 5, but this should fill the void.

They are locals from Hawaii and do an awesome Podcast and they said that Lost has started filming the 5th season around the island of Hawaii!!!

I AM SO EXCITED!! to hear about the filming updates,,!

it will be a long and difficult wait till it comes back..but. It will be worth it..
