Like how im so obsessed with Halo, just collecting figurines and item of HALO! Im still going in my collection, I am slowly getting more stuff to add but wanting to know what is something that you all would say you are obsessed with. Games, Shows, Electronics. Etc. |

VolksWagon Beetles. I have a bunch of toy VWs, an emblem, a model, and I drive a New Beetle. Manga/Comics. I have a ridiculously large collection, and I read a bunch online. Video games. I have a ton of games, I have games that I haven't even opened, I love buying rare games and games for classic systems. AFI, my favorite band. I'm not super obsessed anymore, but I have a ton of cds, magazines they're in, autographed things, tattoos, a white t shirt they gave us when I saw them at the mtv movie awards. Really ridiculous. And my latest obsession is LOST. I see this one getting pretty bad pretty fast... I'm already planning on buying a nunch of Lost merch. |

I've been obsessed with Dune for over a decade, I own every version of the various films, the books by Frank Herbert and some of the horrible ones by his son, and multiple copies of the original book. Now, not a day goes by where I don't think about Dune because instead of riding me like a horse, my daughter wants me to be a sandworm and she pretends to be a Fremen. |

I collect various actions figures - I'm determined to get the entire Final Fantasy 8 Bandai characters and am trying to find a James (Team Rocket) action figure to go with Jessie.
Not the best obsession for a poor student, but on the plus side, people always know what to get me for my birthday

I love Beetles too. Cutest car ever! I also have lots of games but I generally don't get classic ones because of space and the fact that they tend to rerelease them in collections later anyhow. I think I have at least 31 games I haven't even beaten yet and some of them haven't even been opened. I wonder if I'll ever finish them... |

Speaking of unfinished gamesI promised myself no more new games until I at least finished one. It doesn't help that I bought and haven't finished and/or started Mass Effect, Fable 2, and Fable 1 outside of Lost Oddyssea |

I should point out that I´m not an unconditional fan of anything Lara, I´m only a fan of the original Core version, the subsequent version has enough differences to them to lack the aspects of the character (and games) that I like, but I find that the promotional images released for the new games, comics and movies are much more "Laraesque" than Lara herself in those versions, so I collect the images and figures I like. For some reason, the game themed wedding struck me as absurd at the first glance as well, but then I took the time to shed my cultural and social bias, and then I saw that it can actually be something good. What do most people think when they hear "wedding planning"? They hear, boring, stressing and uninteresting. Some people go crazy over that stuff. But, what if you can make it fun and linked to your interests? That you could take pride in linking your own interests and your own personality into the details of such a celebration? What if, your wedding became more personal, down to earth and fun for you, who is the main person in such an event? For one, I met my own girlfriend on the internet, and thus can understand the meaning of themes in relation to such, but also to strong gamer personalities. The bride in this halo wedding has been a gamer 90% of her life... She met the love of her life through her passion... And, now, that you are going to celebrate such love with your family... Is it more important that old archaic traditions are upheld, or is it more important that you are comfortable and proud of what you have achieved? I wouldn't stretch it as far as they have done here. But I would like to, one day, be able to express more then just my loyalty to tradition. What do you guys think? |

When done right, it is the best drink you can find (it's a totally subjective statement, and I don't care). I should learn to make it myself, but the consequences of that would be: Less money to play games, and a lot of two-day-hangovers. *shudders* Both a sacrifice I'm not willing to make. *laughs*

Tequila use to be my drink of choice when it came to spirits. Lick, sip, suck....ahh memories lol. But umm, cant touch the stuff now, one very very bad experience on cheap tequila, a set of stairs (damn those polished floorboards) and a day over the toilet was enough to make me never touch the stuff again. | ||

I have been obsessed with music for a while now. Love love love it! I have about 300 cds, but I stopped buying them years ago (takes up too much space) and switched to mp3s. I recently went through my collection and deleted about 2,000 of them.
I'm so happy that it's getting warm out and I can drive with the windows down and listen to music. It's one of my favorite things to do! I guess I should mention my iPhone too. Everyone says that it's permanently attached to me. lol I never go anywhere without it! |
