OkamiHas anyone played Okami on Wii? I got it a few days ago and have been addicted ever since. I appreciate the Japanese influence to the art and story elements, and the controls for the the brush technique really suits the Wii remote. I'm having fun learning each of the moves, it feels really creative. My only concern is that it might be a bit short, but I'll prefer a short engaging game over a long time-consuming one.
Another plus point is that even though you're controlling a wolf, technically you are playing as a female character.

Don't worry about shortness. I played it on the PS2 and it took about 40 hours to finish, and I didn't even spend too much time looking for stray beads or treasure.

Yeah I played it on ps2 and it took me around 40hrs as well, its deceptively long actually. I wish I would have waited and played on wii. I loved the game but the brush stoke moves are perfect for the wii- it was kind of awkward on a ps2 controller.

Lmao, let's be real, I probably will buy the Wii version, considering I buy all the Final Fantasy remakes... for less features... =_=;;; quit knowing me xD
Although, I am gonna try to limit my game spending, but I'm a horrible addict, is there any support groups I can join?

Maybe you can trade in your PS2 version then get the Wii one?
The brush strokes really are fantastic with the remote - it takes a bit of practice and sometimes the cursor wobbles all over the place (maybe I'm too far away from the sensor?) but it's so addictive. I might get RSI from doing Power Slash all the time, haha. Though on the flip side, I find it's harder to execute regular attacks/combos/blocking/dodging with the Wii.

I had a PS2 version which I didnt play for very long, i found the brush strokes too awkward.
On the wii, though, it shines. For about a week I literally couldn't stop playing.
Except for that stupid paper thing you have to race near the end of the game... I got frustrated and didnt go back.. lol

Weeeellll I gave in and bought the Wii version of Okami lmao.... but I found a good solution to finding time to play! Make someone else and watch them
Muahahaha, it's pretty sweet, I can play DS and stuff while watching... I'll eventually play it but I think this is some good multitasking XD I can pause and try it every once in a while too (which I did a couple times).
