Piers Anthony?I have to say that, although I started reading Stephen King at age 5 (no lie!), Piers Anthony has to be my favorite author. He's somewhere between fantasy, science fiction and just plain weird, but I love his work. I can say there hasn't been a series yet that he's created that I have disliked, which is going a ways seeing how picky I can be.
So, are there any other Piers Anthony fans in the house? Xanth? Mode? Incarnations of Immortality?

I never got into Xanth really, but I absolutely LOVED the Mode series. I really related to Colene, and Sequiro was just awesome! It also really gets you coming up with ideas for all these crazy alternate realities. My only complaint was the last book. You could tell he was rushing to finish it up. Originally it was supposed to be as long if not longer than Xanth, but the publishers apparently decided it wasn't making enough and told him to end it. I would've loved to see more.

From what Piers said in his Author's Note in DoOon Mode, it was a matter of Chaos Mode allegedly not selling a lot of copies (which turned out to be a glitch in the Publisher's numbers). Hence, why there was such a lag between the Chaos and DoOon Mode books.
Insofar as rushing, *shrugs* I dunno. It seemed okay to me.
