Planet Terror or Death Proof...i just needed to start this topic. looks like a little debate is forming? so, let's hash it all out here.what are your opinions of these movies? do you like one more than the other, and why? i loved both movies, but hold a higher level of excitement for Death Proof. mainly due to the last 30 minutes of that film, or when Zoe Bell makes an appearance. that real-life stunt woman plays as herself in this movie, and she is fantastic! ship's captain on a vintage challenger? damn! i loved all of those gals except the 'cheerleader', and really loved the vigilante moments. they gave Kurt Russell's macho character the hell he deserved. priceless. my fav Planet Terror scene was when the one-legged gal converted her leg to a machine gun and rode 'shotgun' on the back of the motorcycle, mowing down the zombies. |

Death Proof. Hands down. Zoe Bell was fucking hot.
Planet Terror was enjoyable, but it was FAR to gross to be a movie I would want to watch over and over. I don't know how I managed to eat a pizza during it when I saw Grindhouse in the theatre. Personally, I'm waiting a while to buy either of them because I'm hoping they eventually release both together with all the fake previews that were in Grindhouse. |

I'd say Planet terror! It was a much more enjoyable movie, the dialogue in death proof nearly put me to sleep and let me not get started on Kim (Tracie Thomas). Deathproof for me was just awful! I know it was a homage to b rated grindhouse movies but thats just it, it was supposed to be fun to an extent but i wasted 2 hours of my life!
Planet Terror on the other hand was over the top fun & madness... |

For me, Death Proof all the way. Even though I ended up missing a part of it due to unforseen circumstances, it was great.
And, I hate t hat Death Proof and Planet Terror were released seperately and without the fake movie trailers. Those were the BEST! |

i liked both but my favorite is death proof. the dialog was great and was very exciting. i got to see it at the theater when they had both playing and it was awesome. i hope to that they put both out on 1 hd dvd. |

I think Planet Terror blew Deathproof out of the water. Mmm Rose McGowan *daydreams*... oh sorry. Death wasn't my kind of movie is all. Terror was hilarious and gorey, nuff said It's fucked up that they were released seperatly. Kinda destroyed the meaning of a GRINDHOUSE. And they got rid of alot of the fake trailers to. Disapointing to say the least. But you didn't get the real experience unless you saw it in theaters. Truely a work of art, both of them.
