Portal! It's so quotable!I didn't see a thread about this new classic, so I figured I'd make one. The game itself was of course unique and fun, but its lasting appeal at least to me is the many awesome quotes that are usable in many everyday situations. 
Do any of my fellow gamers occasionally find themselves quoting GLaDOS to their coworkers only to receive either confused expressions or instant new friendship with said person?
It's like a test to see if someone plays for "our team" or not. ...as in they're gamers that is.

The ending is pretty cool and it would really be a shame if there was nothing Portal-related in further HL2 episodes.

I was waaay late with playing Portal (as I am with many games), I just finished it recently. And I really loved it. I got it mainly because I wanted to finally get the references and jokes my friends included in their comics. Now that I finished it I can add some cute references too. 
I also liked the discussions I read on online forums about the background story. It's so open that people's minds get all kinds of ideas.
