Damn. Chun Li was my first gaming heroine and at about 15 years old I'd have LOVED a film about her background.

But this is silly. She HAS to look Chinese, it's stupid otherwise! There are loads of good-looking kickass Chinese actresses out there!

Kristen Kreuk as Chun Li is definitely as big of a mismatch as Devon Aoki as Kasumi. I respect both actresses, but they simply don't fit the roles. On a brighter note though...this looks a hell of a lot better than that dragon ball movie Laughing

I had to revive this just to moan, just watched this movie. Hooly jeeebus what a crap movie. $50 mill? I had low expectations from the get go but duuuude, it makes the street fighter movie with JCVD look like a mammoth classic. Talk about mismatched actors and actresses.

Definitely on my list of never again.
