The Fashion/Clothes Thread

Didn't see another thread like this. If there is, I'm sorry!

What do you gals usually wear? I guess you can describe me as very girly. Probably 90% of the time I'm wearing a skirt or dress. 99% of the time I wear high heels (can't wear regular shoes anymore!).
hardkour

I'm not girly at all. I wear men's jeans, shirts and sneakers... I get mistaken for a male frequently, but I don't mind.
Babycha

Usually guy's skinny jeans, a band t shirt and a hat... and vans or converse. I have an awesome bomber jacket that I found at a thrift store, I looove it!
ElizzyJ

Why you guys dress like guys? You should express your femininity as much as possible. =)
hardkour

I would express it, if I had any, haha. I express myself by wearing men's clothes. I know a lot of the stereotypes for lesbians center around the whole looking like men thing... but this is what I'm comfortable and feel right in.
Vickie

I think people should wear what expresses them the most. As for me, I'm... very plain. I wear eyeliner and my hair long; but in terms of clothes, anything comfortable is good enough for me. I hate skirts and dresses, though...
ElizzyJ

Why?! They're so freakin' comfortable, and they're very feminine, I think.
Vickie

I find dresses and skirts uncomfortable because I have to watch how I sit and where the wind blows. I also hated it when they made me wear a dress for my school uniform; I couldn't wait till I went to Uni and had a choice!

Same here! I've never felt comfortable in dresses. There's nothing wrong with dresses, they just aren't for me.

On a fashion note, Levi jeans are my favorite. I don't really have any favorite brands beyond that.
NightSky

Wearing guy clothes for some is expressing themselves. Look at Shane. Yum! Well, she's more of a soft butch but you catch my drift. I dunno how I'd describe how I dress. I like Baby Phat and fitting denim jeans but I wouldn't wear a skirt or dress cause it just ain't me. I like makeup but not pounds of it. lol I just like accentuating what I have subtly rather than overtly. I dunno.

Well, with dresses less so because they tend to be longer, and longer skirts aren't a huge problem with me.

My favorite type of skirt is the pencil skirt.

I'd describe myself as relatively feminine (I'll do stuff like paint my nails pink).  I do like wearing skirts, but I haven't done it often recently.  I just look around on the bus and everyone else is wearing jeans--it's not warm in San Francisco!

Tops I also keep relatively simple; stuff like cardigans.  Basically, whatever actually fits me in the sleeves (which isn't much).

I hardly ever paint my nails; cardigans are really cute.

You should designate a day for wearing a skirt - that helps!

The big reason I do is that I do it once, and then it's done for a week or two.  It's not a bunch of extra time getting ready every morning.
ElizzyJ

Picked up a new skirt + heels - both came in the mail today.
