VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!YAY IT'S COMING UP! I love candy!
It's my third favorite holiday after Halloween(1) and Christmas(2)!!!
(On a side note, I compromised my two costume ideas for this year and came up with Pirate RuPaul.)
I'm so excited for V Day, I already have a TON of sugary Necco candy hearts and chocolates! And I LOOOVVE making lil Valentines for all my friends! 
On a side note, I've been very happy of late due to Shaun White's unexpected ownage on his last run at the Superpipe at the Winter X Games! YESSSSS! <3

Ya except mine are sweet!  I can make lil paper boxes with candy in them and stuff.

I'm not looking forward to Valentine's Day. As much as I love candy, all of my friends are gone due to college and I'm stuck being single. xD

But I can understand the appeal it holds for people.

I liked getting those things.
My HS is sophisticated though... like you buy everything from cakes to cookies to teddy bears to flowers to have delivered to your person's classroom. Lol.

Commercially, it's all about the bucks these days. I think it's best to make your own little gifts for each other- that means more than fighting the crowds at the store for some chocolate roses or edible panties....

I love giving gifts to people. I don’t know why (I’m not what you’d call a “nice” person) but I love finding the perfect gift for someone. So, yeah, I’m down with Valentine’s Day.
Unfortunately, I won’t be celebrating this year since my friends and I are all Poor College Kids who can barely afford to do our laundry.

This is actually the first year I'll be busy on Valentine's - I'm un-celebrating it by going with some mates to Ann Summers (and for those who are unaware of this shop chain, I am envious of you.) It should be interesting

i work on valentine's day as well...and i'd have to say that my job is the worst to be at on vday.
i get to watch a whole bunch of people come into the store and rent romance movies as they cuddle and kiss right in front of me as i say "that'll be $5.32...due on Monday...and you don't even care"
it's going to make me want to be with my gf even more than i already want to

I hear ya. btw, why do people think it's okay to make out at the dinner table in a restaurant? Seriously! I hate working on Valentine's day 'cause it reminds me of how single I've been. Pffffffft. I plan on inhaling several beers after work! Take that, V-day!

Kinda sucks that I missed this thread considering I lubbs me some valentine's day. This year I went on a disgustingly sweet trip to Disney World with my BF. Hope that everyone enjoyed theirs -- Happy Belated VDay to everyone
