Man, if I had a Wii I'd so be all over that game. I played it on the GC and didn't interact with anybody for a few days
I haven't really heard anything bad about the controls.

Ah, so you're liking the wii controls?
Awesome. Haven't played it on the wii myself unfortunately. Too preoccupied with other games (mario galaxy) DX But I'd like to get it sometime, maybe this x-mas.
Have you thought about getting Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles?
=0 I'm behind on this stuff. Heh...

RE on the Wii is amazing. If you don't have it and like survival horror and your Wii.. go get it.. now.. shoo.. goooo lol
Seriously though, an amazing game. The controls are cool and you can spice it up by buying the Wii Zapper or Joytech gun attachment.

We had trouble finding Tomb Raider Anniversary on the Xbox 360 as well. It's odd they haven't publicized it more. You know the Wii version has an extra 3 hours worth of stuff on it though right? I think it's cool they're adding stuff to the Wii version. I'm intrigued to know how the controls feel on it.

Wiiyou should sooo buy a wii!! i love it! Has anyone sent in for the free grip thingys that come with the wii now.....like if you bought one of the originals they give you up to 4 for free.....well i got them and they are super ugly.....just wanted to know others opinions.....considering they sell cooler ones in the stores i would assume nintendo would be a bit more fashionable

I finally finished RE4 a couple weeks ago, and I am soooo happy with that game, the controls are great, and I love the pointer aiming function. I got started on playing Separate Ways, which is really awesome in terms of seeing the story play out in Ada's perspective. Assignment Ada is pretty hard tho, so I'm taking a short break.
Umbrella Chronicles IS OUT!! It's a rail shooter, in the same vein as light gun games, so I am stoked! Has anyone got a copy of it yet?

I got Wii this Christmas which is why I only have Wii Sports, LoZ: Twilght Princess and Mario Galaxy, but I've been really impressed with them - I'm glad I chose this console over other next-gen consoles. Wiimote is fun to use, it's a great change from the normal controllers.
Right now I'm looking forward to playing such titles as Super Paper Mario, Trauma Center, Endless Ocean and RE: Umbrella Chronicles.

Resident Evil Umbrella...I have this game and I love it. At first I thought I wouldn't because I don't love shooter games, but the graphics rock and it's the same intensity of the last couple of games. I do have to say, I have the wii zapper, and it makes the game so much more fun.
Plus the wii zapper comes with the game Link's Crossbow training which is so fun!
My brother bought me the wii for christmas and it is the greatest gift ever!

Smash is Coming!I can relate to the "I didn't think I'd like shooters" comment. My roots are in RPGs, and I still think some of the orignal wander and shoot games are boring... but they've come a long way.
No More Heroes for the Wii is fantastic! Very gory with cartoon crazy blood spray... reminds me of Kill Bill with unfortunately not such a charming lead actor.
I think that Super Paper Mario for the Wii got overlooked by lots of people. That game has a great sense of humor and I couldn't put it down till I beat it.
You know... we're heading into Smash time! I can't wait.. because goodness knows my Wii hasn't made my arms sore enough... it should come with massage coupons or advil.

RE4 on the WiiBack to this topic. I played RE4 on gamecube many times. I have now played several times on the Wii version and I really like it. The main game is actually a little easier with the Wiimote controls. The BEST thing is getting to play Separate Ways. It's a short version of the whole game played from Ada Wong's point of view. When playing as Leon, Ada pops in and out of the action. In Separate Ways, you get to find out why she's there and play sections of the game as her. Very fun.

Personally after playing shooting games on the 360 I wouldnt recommend them on the wii unless youve got the wii zapper, cause i think they look awful. Best games to have on the wii i think are casual games like mario and others similar.
The best games on the wii that i would recommend are:
Warioware smoth moves
Mario & sonic @ the olympics
Mario Kart
Wii sports.
Carnival
want to get super paper mario, PDC Darts, mario galaxy and wii fit and cooking mama. Would anyone recommend these Im not too sure would like some peoples opinions?

Paper Mario is awesome, I was really impressed with the gameplay and the story/humor, I wasn't really into the GC version, but I really enjoyed this one.
I am ashamed to admit that I haven't had a chance to play Mario Galaxy, but I hear nothing but good things about it.
Cooking Mama (Wii) I heard wasn't as good as the DS one... Haven't tried the Wii version myself...
If you like mini-games, you might like Rayman: Raving Rabbids.

Super mario galaxy is really good, you get to plenty of game play in it. Only downside is this 1 start level call luigi's purple coins, its hell, you might need a save game to be able to replay the game as Luigi but all other 99 stars are doable.
Super mario paper is also just as good.
I'm going out to get Mario Kart for the Wii today, and preordered wii fit.

We wii'd some at a friend's house last night and tried out games I didn't know yet. I wasn't impressed.
They had Link's Crossbow Training with the zapper... I think I'm really not into shooters. Tried Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, a game I really wanted to get and I think I no longer do. I like those types of games, but I really preferred the Athens 2004 on my PS2. I'm not sure what it was, though. Some of it were the controls (trampolin, for example, still alot of button pushing), I'm really not that into the Sonic characters... the choice of events isn't that great. All in all I hope that Summer athletics will be better (and it's not as pricey, either). They had a nother sports game with curling, ice skating, etc. It's a cheaply made game (the graphics are horrendous) but it was kinda fun.
I find it suprisingly hard to find 'good' games for the Wii. I do have paper Mario on my list. Also Tony Hawks and SSX, both of which I enjoyed on the PS2, at least some of them, but I keep hearing mixed things. Thinking about setting the PS2 up today.

I didn't play too much of that game, but what I did play killed my arms, lol. Especially swimming. I actually found the trampoline most fun - doing the combos perfectly and in time was a fun challenge.
Games I have are:
* Wii Fit
* Kororinpa: Marble Mania
* Mario Kart Wii
* Mario Strikers
* Wii Play
* Mario Party 8
* Red Steel
* Link’s Crossbow Training
I gave my Zelda copy to my nephew for his birthday as I never got into it, and I've also only played like a half hour of Red Steel. I think I'm really just not into single player games on the Wii... my Wii gets played when my friends come over and don't want to play Rock Band, pretty much.
I'm finding it difficult to keep up on Wii Fit, I turn it on maybe twice a week. I'm hoping some fun games come out that utilize the balance board. Unfortunately I'm not into skiing or snowboarding, but maybe I'd be into a surfing game?
The zapper actually makes my hand ache after awhile, so I must hold it weird or something, I dunno.
I'm really happy that Dr. Mario finally came out on WiiWare. I can play that game for hours. Now just need Tetris!

I know! Tetris would so rock! I was such a Tetris ho on the first Gameboy.
The Wii really is fun for multiplayer games. And I do play the games I have by myself but I don't quite see my game collection growing a lot.
I'll hold out on Wii fit until I see that additional games come out for the balance board. An we'll see if I brake down for the new Guitar Hero.

You can get homebrew tetris, but you'd need to borrow your zelda back.
