Work clothes

I imagine some of you prefer a similar style to me in the workplace, so I thought I'd ask you where to find the best clothes.  Right now, I wear polos and khaki-like pants to work, but I want to wear something a bit more dressy than a polo.  Everything in department stores seems way to feminine for me, and I'm short and squat, so I can't really do men's clothes either.  Where you do semi-masculine ladies buy your work clothes?
Amanda Says

You could get a mens button up shirt but get a small enough size for you that will be tight so that it is semi-feminine but not too bad.

The problem I run into with that is not knowing my measurements, which is how a lot of men's Oxfords are sized.  I also run into the problem of arm length and having to tuck stuff in.

Its extra $, but you may be able to get them altered.

Luckily I wear scrubs to work, so it's just an issue of picking a color.

Damnit, I didn't know you were a doctor, not a miracle worker.

Lol @freman.

While I know it was a cute lil joke, I feel the need to clarify that No I'm not a MD.

Pantsy let us know if you ever find a solution.

I went to Kohl's yesterday and got some pretty nice men's polos (Sonoma and Croft & Barrow).  They definitely look better on me than women's polos.  I'm pretty happy with my purchases.  Kohl's also carries Dockers, so I was able to get some pants sized for women that are pretty androgynous.  My only complaint about ladies' slacks are the tiny or non-existent back pockets.  That's where I keep my wallet!

aaaahhh that is what i hate MOST about girls pants no gerdamn functional pockets
*grumble, grumble*

I just wanna agree about the girls' pockets. As if girls don't need pockets Evil or Very Mad

I will not buy pants if they don't have back pockets.  Most of my pants have really shallow ones, but I can fit my wallet in them if I just turn it sideways.
