Girl, That was the easiet game ever. An I got so bored I actually decided to try the game out. An got even more bored so gave that up. But, TNMT was actually an okay game for that 1000 achievements I got. I will actually recommend that for my nephew to play. Its more enjoyable for them. Not much for me but if i was a kid i would love it more.

omg me too.
My gamerscore is weak. I've had my Xbox for a year, but I like, start a game, and then get bored and start another game, only recently have I actually started to finish.
I also spent a good couple months of my life playing COD4 Multiplayer ONLY and then a while NOT playing my Xbox at all, because of girl problems. I can't play when I am not happy. It sucks.
I think they've saved me from my normal attention span issues with games.
I still cant bring myself to play through a game more than once.
Like.
Oooh play it on easy, then normal, then hardcore, then insane. Like. I just can't do it.
SO if I didn't find all the damn cog tags the first time, I just need to let it go.
But then I see 27/47 achievements and I'm like >:

i love getting achievements. I think i care more about achievements than just enjoying the game sometimes. but there has only been one game (oblivion) where i was able to get every achievement. I dont freek out if there are some that seem impossible to me. I get the ones i can do and then play another game. The games i like to simply play are gears and left for dead. Also some RPGs. _________________

i agree about achievements taking something away...
in some ways, achievements are anti-gameplay
when you start to get addicted to them, you start to do things that are frustrating and boring, just to get them.
i was addicted to them for a while, but then i kinda realized i had a problem, so i just stopped playing the box entirely.
i'm trying to force myself to only do things that are worth my time, because life is short, but those achievements keep calling me..
replay the entire ninja gaiden 2 game with only one weapon type, for each weapon type, in its entirety, for the achievement... what? is that sane? no. fun? no
repetitive and boring? yes will i do it? um.... |

I like achievements, cos if I do something I never thought to do (like having a threesome on Fable 2) I get recognised for it.
Buuuutttt... I hate having achievements I can't get, such as when they require downloadable content you have to pay for, cus I can't pay for them. So on Fable 2, there are loads of achievements for the DLCs, and I can't get them. _________________ What goes up, must come down... unless it gets into space, in which case there is no "up" at that point. |

I beat Mass Effect seven times.(stupid Ally achievements) I needed to fully complete it. What's totally fucked is that I could still play it through again. It's a really good game but achievements have slightly ruined the way I play video games. I find myself going out of my way to get them and not enjoying the game. *sigh* I wish I could go back to the Nintendo days but the Wii not having any sort of profile or gamerscore kills it for me.
Damn you xbox and your achievements!!!
