Thanks for all the info. I have been reading comics since I was a little girl. I just recently was looking for a comic with a lesbian character. I had heard a year or two ago the new Batgirl would be a lesbian. Anyone else hear this? Anyway, great info, I'll be sure and check out all the comics mentioned.

Actually, it was Batwoman at DC comics. There was a story line in the 52 series with her and ex-cop Renee Montoya. But they chickened out and didn't give her her own comic book after all. Renee Montoya got her own mini-series called Crime Bible (now ending, but you can probably find it and 52 in graphic novel format).

Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore, and Jane's World Collection by Paige Braddock (actually by a lesbian Shocked

) are good stories with a lesbian main character, and are available in graphic novel format, too.
