So ive had this game on pc for a few days now...still not bloody released here so i cant get it on xbox yet KYAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!  But im getting really into it and OMFG....
Theres possibly some kinda spoilers in here....It depends what u think spoilers are. I dont give away anything of the stories though so read on if you will.
the stories couldnt be more different if they tried. I started as a human warrior and my friend he started as a rogue elf its like 2 completely different stories HONESTLY. His game started with action and bla bla bla mine started all fable-ish with calm walking around etc. Im not that muh of a pc gamer so im finding it REALLY hard hahaha but im getting the hang of it. I already had sex with a hooker! Best day ever! haha.
There seemed to be a love interest RIGHT from the beginning in my story...but she dissapeared n ive not seen her since  It seems like i just got one chance to bed her or something....and i clearly failed hahahaha. I cant even pick up virtual girls. ALTHOUGH she did tell me where she lived, but that place is blocked off atm so i guess when it becomes available ill look her up n stuff  THE COOL THING IS THOUGH...the area she lives in is where my friends elf started out...and shes actually in his game too. It seems the games are related but u play different views decided on who you chose.
The characters are great guys, honestly. Morrigan is my favourite and i think shell be everyones fave too hahaha. The banter between characters while walking around, not unlike the little elevator chats in mass effect, is hilarious...honestly. The choices you have to make are also amazing...there are too many soul tearing decisions to make hahaha. They really kick you in the nuts with some of the decisions.
Exciting guys. If you havent got it i advise you too. I know i will when it comes out on xbox coz i keep going nuts over the pc controls lol...my brain doesnt have the capacity!!!!

One small rant though: ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING IN GAME ADVERTISING FOR DLC. FUCK YOU EA STOP RUINING GAMES.
It really really bothers me that every time i go to "journal" it reminds me about buying DLC, npcs from time to time almost give me a quest only to say "download this dlc to play this quest". Why not just pull me out of the experience further by advertising mountain dew in game?
At any rate. awww yeah Morrigan. She's awesome. |

I would even gladly pay for every last bit of DLC provided they just integrate it into the game in a streamlined way. I got all the DLC for fallout 3 and ya know what? My pipboy didn't remind me every time I used it that I was just playing a game.
EDIT: nevermind, any negative points this game has are easily negated by my first kiss with morrigan. |

So I finally got the game and am thoroughly enjoying playing it. (Despite the fact that I keep dieing, this game is kinda hard! I like it)
Though I have to admit Morigan kinda pisses me off sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact of how strong and self dependant she is. But the fact that she gets pissed off when I help someone, not because I personally want to help them, but because I know that it has to be done. I mean, I understand she justs wants things to be done, but still... Ugh, she bothers me sometime. Then again, really everyone in there bothers me on some level or another. I guess that is part of why I really like the world, is no one in it is perfect. Everyone has some AMAZING qualities, and then some ones that just make you go O.o
Though still, I am trying to get a romantic option w Morigan and it is going far too slowly... I wish to make out with the hotness that she is! |

Supposedly she doesn't swing that way. Same thing happened with me and Allister, which is odd because some of his dialogue really made me think he wanted me. I know personally I'm going to play through again with a female, and also try the different races (since different NPCs react differently depending on your race) so according to the DA forums, you're best off trying to get wit' Morrigan as a man, and an eeeeevil one at that.
Oh yeah and when you go back to the mage tower make sure to talk to her, there's an errand she'll want you to run that if you complete will make her like you lots more. |
