I did quite a bit of AB over the weekend but as I'm in a Kurz alliance, we would only have met facing off against each other. I played a monk/mesmer, and a had a lot of fun interrupting, stripping enchants, and wanding stuff between prots. I was surprised to see so many touch rangers still running around. Don't they know it's not nice to touch strangers? Especially ones who can interrupt OoB?

Well I'm sure you owned me if I saw you haha

Maybe they're friendly and wanted to shake hands? Razz

Aww ish okay, Sora. I met a really good leader in AB who knows how to cap, not to mob, and protect the Monk (me). *has a GWcrush on her/him*

Res Ipsi, don't... don't interrupt meeee! But wanding people to death as a Monk is indeed fun! Cool

I've had GW since it came out and have all campaigns but I haven't played in a good while... also have only finished Prophecies. I hope to get back into GW - I think one of the reasons I quit is because I don't like playing with strangers and none of my friends ever stuck with the game... plus I'm a bad pack rat finding it hard to sell stuff so ran out of space.

I have a lot of low level chars because I kept starting anew with various friends, but I have 4 level 20s, Ranger/Monk, Warrior/Monk and Monk/Ele in Prophecies and an Assassin/Monk in Factions. The W/M I took into GW:EN but didn't finish.

I prefer PvE but PvP is fun once in awhile.

Anyways, I'm in -8:00 Pacific timezone - do any of you have a typical time that you play? I'm a nightowl (it's currently after 2am) so hopefully that'll make it easier to meet up with anyone in Europe or Australia or wherever.

Have fun,
Candice

I just wanted to say that -8:00 GMT is the most awesome timezone to be in. It's much better than those other timezones.

Pffft GMT+8 / +10 is totally better. Can you beat the future?

How IS the world 16 hours from now? I bet this is how 99% of people *actually* win the lotto - by having friends on the other side of the world!

Agreed. How can you beat Guild Wars standard time?

Isaiah: PvE players tend to want extremely overpowered things and feel epic while killing lots of things. They don't want things to change very much. Things need to remain static so that they can learn and plan strategies. Change is bad for them - it creates instability in their world.

Ugh, not *this* again. What he really seems to be saying is: "PvE players don't know how to play - so we made an easy button for them". I've already beaten this dead horse elsewhere, so won't muck up the forum here.
