Show me Love - Cute film, I liked it
Tipping the Velvet - Mini Series, quite good
Kissing Jessica Stein - Cute and fun.
Lost and Delirious - depressing ending, but worth it for Piper
Better then Chocolate - Mmmm Christina Cox
But I'm a Cheerleader- Campy fun, and Ru Paul not in drag
Gia - Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchel
Imagine Me and You-More Piper, fun film
High Art-drugs/depression/Ally Sheedy. Decent
Desert Hearts-One of the old school lesbian films, still good
Incredible adventures of Two Girls in Love-Love it
Julie Johnson-Courtney Love? Still decent
Go Fish-weird/artsy/worth viewing
D.E.B.S-More camp, completely fun.
Mullholand Drive-very odd film, but I liked it
Girl Play-small independent film, I liked it though
Boy's Don't Cry-Hillary Swank won an oscar for this
Claire of The Moon-Ummm, worth it just to see how far we have come
Monster (if you count it)-Only if the story interests you

Bar Girls - Bad Movie, really bad, but fun to watch in a weird way
Rent-Musical with several gay characters including a lesbian couple. Probably better if you haven't seen the stage production
Eulogy-dysfunctional family gathers for a funeral. Includes lesbian couple.
Prey For Rock N' Roll - Part of the Gena Gershon Lesbian Trilogy. Her character is bi here.
Showgirls - part of the Gena Gershon lesbian trilogy, and a completely terrible movie. |

I watched Gia and Boys Don't Cry this weekend. Amazing. 8D
Edit: I watched Better Than Chocolate and Lost And Delirious today. Those were also amazing. |

Oh, awesome thread! Now I have more lesbian movies to watch. Yay! I'm going to watch Love My Life when it comes out on Netfix. It looks really good. 
I've seen Tipping the Velvet, Fingersmith, Imagine Me and You, D.E.B.S., But I'm a Cheerleader, Bound, Saving Face, Loving Annabelle, Desert Hearts, Truth About Jane, The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls In Love, Boys Don't Cry, Better Than Chocolate, Show Me Love, Kissing Jessica Stein, and High Art.
And its not exactly a lesbian film, but I recently saw For The Bible Tells Me So. It was a documentary about the clash between homosexuality and religion, it followed several christian families who discovered they had a gay/lesbian child and showed how they dealt with it. I thought it was very moving, informative, and inspirational. I highly recommend it. |

I saw Love My Life at the sydney mardi gra film festival this year, a few months ago, and loved it also. The only thing that marred it for me was the stupid stupid and ignorant trio of girls behind us that kept making snarky comments and laughing at it for the cultural differences.  
Another one that we saw that I really liked was Butch Jamie. It had a bit of a "low budget pet project" feel to it, but damn, it was hallarious.

Ha yeah it's a great one.
I like Aimée & Jaguar a lot. It's a German movie. Berlin during WWII. It's the story of Felice, a Jewish women living under a false identity who meets a woman married to a German soldier...
I know the war theme can put off, I don't like war movies myself. But I love this one, it's more about two people with nothing in common who fall in love with each other.
