did anyone catch the first episode of this? i think it's on abc or something. it's supposed to have minor lesbian content, but it's also supposed to be horrible and a bad sex and the city ripoff. i'm torrenting it right now so i'll post later after i watch it with impressions. _________________

I've seen the first 2 episodes and i'm quite pleased with it. It is a bit like SATC (its by the same producers) but I like what i see so far. It's got a lot of potential so we'll have to see where it goes from here. I definately will not be missing this or ugly betty! _________________ Vou zhuxi de guanghui - Long live Vou (lol)

yay another fan! i think it has potential too, caitlin is definitely my favorite character though. i hope they don't cut her relationship with alicia off after like 6 episodes even though it's kind of likely haha. _________________

Man you know how angry im ganna be if she starts dating that guy. And did anyone else notice that caitlin hardly ever has dialog? And her storyline is really slow, _________________ |

| I read on AfterEllen that they're going to continue Caitlin's relationship with Alicia, at least for now, so we shouldn't worry. I'm glad about that, they're pretty adorable together. By the way guys, you can watch all four full episodes at ABC's site with "limited commercial interruptions", aka a random 30-second ad every 10 minutes. It's really high quality video too, I was shocked. |

i would hate to be alicia, because i like this girl who is on again off again gay, and she keeps saying she cant tell which sex she likes more. it annoys the hell outta me, but we were all like that once, at least i was. _________________ |

I'm in a wait and see stage with my reaction to Caitlin's storyline. I think her portral has been pretty realistic for someone coming out later in life and discovering a new part of her sexuality. I also think many tend to see sexuality as gay or straight, forgetting to acknowledge our bisexual sisters.
I gave up a long time ago expecting too much from television series. I think most people in society could look at many different series and point out rather glaring inconsistencies and unrealistic portrayals of different lives. For example, take the series Friends, how many people do you know in New York who are barely employed that can afford to live in such huge apartments. Even people who have personal insight into a particular character's struggles can still manage to upset members of that particular group. The LWord is a perfect example of this. Just check out Showtime's message board it's full of people dissatisfied with the different characters from the way they dress to the lack of butch characters, etc. |
