Meh. Don't really give a rats ass about Betty.
BUT!!! I am all about Shane. I really don't understand why people don't see any depth in her. She has proved to be a true friend to everybody, despite the falling outs between the individual characters. She was there for Bette when everybody took sides with Tina, is friends with Jenny when everybody hates her (don't like the crazy bitch either). Shane is loyal, honest and very compassionate. What's not to like about that?? I would be honored to have Shane as a friend. But I wouldn't wanna get tangled up in her love life. That's a whole different story.
And Kate is just the hottest motherfucker on the planet next to Angelina imo!!

i wish Angelina would make an LW appearance. 
i'm just so thankful we have LW... faults and all. without it, TV wouldn't be worth watching IMHO. it's tiring to be bombarded with hetero programming, or watching good gay characters reduced to comedic, stereotypical roles. it's nice to have some dyke-centric drama. i'm just glad they got off of the hetero male stuff that went on in season 1.

Yeah, that quote is a good one.
And yeah, I hate all the gay characters in little sitcoms who's only purpose is to be a cheap joke. I could throw up! But I won't.
I think The L Word is great. Jenny is a bitch you just love to fuckin hate, Alice is the funny lesbian next door, Tina is I think representative of alot of women, and Shane exists only to be cool and untouchable. Works for me!!
I think Max is a pretty good character, even when lots of people say: What does he have to do with being a lesbian?? It's all about diversity!
I liked Tim from season 1. Really felt for him. Just cos I'm a dyke I don't have anything against men. I don't have anythig against straight people in LW, cos they do exist. they are all around us!! lol Except for those bastards at Tina's mixer in S4! They can all rot in a big pit.
And almost everybody is so rediculously good looking that you know it's a only a drama set in LA!

i never in my life thought i would see Jennifer Beals in a lesbian drama. she was so hot as that welder gal in Flashdance... now we actually get to see her act out our fantasies in LW. how wild is that?!
