I don't know if 'The Stone Gods' by Jeanette Winterson has popped up anywhere - anyway, it's three short sci-fi stories, all interlinked, and so also has re-reading potential. I thoroughly recommend it Very Happy

Also, thanks for the suggestions, all - I work in a library and have read all the obviously LGBT fic I could find via my random shelf browsing (mainly Sarah Waters and Jeanette W), but now at least I have a few authors and titles I can run through the system!

These are excellent reads!  Sorry if they have already been listed, I didn't see them though.

Annie on My Mind- By Nancy Garden
Keeping You a Secret- By Julie Anne Peters
Dare Truth or Promise- By Paula Broock

Comic-wise, Runaways is an awesome book with a main character who is a lesbian.

Great great award-winning comic too.

These are some of my favorite authors/poets:

Jeanette Winterson
Pat Califia
Jewelle Gomez
Rita Mae Brown
Adrienne Rich

And every lesbian must have If Not, Winter - the fragments of Sappho translated by Anne Carson.

I hope this helps! Smile

Empress of the World by Sara Ryan is really good. I think there's even a sequel, The Rules for Hearts.
