Just joined the site and I'm really happy to see the half life discussion. About two weeks ago I finished my two month long Orange Box orgy. First, I played Portal, and I couldn't stop. I played it several times through. What a great game! Can't wait for more Portal, whether it be Portal 2 or integration into the next Half Life game, as some suggest.

It took me a while to get into Half Life 2, as I found the controls hard to get used to and I need more than just constant shooting at the bad guys to keep me interested. Once I got rolling though, I really came to appreciate the story and the puzzles and even the shooting got more fun as I got better at it.

By the time I started Episode one, I was in love with the game and glad to have two installments ahead. Now that I'm done, I can't wait to forget it a little so I can start all over.
