|
I'm just wondering, Any lgbt guilds out there with a real decent amount of women in them that don't have a billion members (on a US server)? I'm getting kind of fed up with the Proudmoore server and I may transfer both my level 70 accounts. I ditched other servers and started off from scratch there all because i heard of the "huge lgbt population" but it should've just been reworded to "huge gay male population". I'm currently in a mostly gay guild but I have nothing in common with anyone and it's simply not working. I spend probably my entire time online looking for dumb pickup groups which kind of defeats the purpose of being in a guild. I've been unable to make a steady core of friends to kill crap with. It's quite frustrating as I do enjoy the game a lot but don't have the right people to enjoy it with. I've played WoW on and off since open beta but I play casually now 2 to 3 days a week. I first made a guild with some close friends but they stopped playing. I created a couple of guilds over a span of 5 servers with nothing but bad luck due to lack of interest so I've given up on that. Any helpful suggestions would be great. My toons are alliance side btw.

It's a shame that you are alliance side
I am also on Proudmoore and find that it's 98% gay males and am not having as good as a time i thought I would have. But I don't want to leave this server. Even with the insane Queue times and all the male population the community its self is so nice compared to other servers and I've been on many servers. I have a 71 undead rogue and a 60 BE DK and I have a friend who plays with me all the time and we are always looking for more female friends. Just letting you know we are out there in case you ever roll horde. My mains name is Unearthly. |

Plus with DKs available it's easier to switch teams (heh) than it used to be.
I guess with Proudmoore having insane queues there's no transfers to that realm eh? I'm looking for a place to park my new 70 troll DK and possibly my 71 shammy since my guild has been really getting to me lately. I really want a guild that will give me a chance with getting geared/being able to play with them.
Re: don't mind boys as long as they're nice boys!
And come to da Horde Rexa! You'll love it, we have more fun. _________________

| I think you still can transfer. But the queues around 8pm and later on EST the highest i've seen was 1808 on 112 min wait... other people have seen higher. but the earlier you log on the better. just keep yourself from going afk...lol |

I can transfer to Dawnbringer according the the free transfer thing but I'd pay to transfer anywhere I guess. I used to play horde but those characters I have are under-geared and underleveled so I'd probably have to just start from scratch. It's not the gay male population that I care about but all the "popular" gay guilds aere just over-populated and people are getting "lost" in them so to speak. No friendships established since I'm on this server for several months and no people to even group with which sucks.
At this point, I guess I can just start from scratch and level another warrior/priest duo but horde side on whatever server. So with that being said now if I go Hordy again and anyone needs a buddy lemme know (P.S. I'm addicted to warrior tanks so that's what I tend to play a lot and I do box a holy priest)

| Well I agree with the people getting "lost" in guilds. I totally feel that way so I don't know if any of "The Spreading Taint" horde guilds would be any better. They have over 2000 members and everyone is divided by level into 5-7 different guilds with some form of the name Taint in them. I have yet to make any good friends since there are so many people and most of them have been together for years and are already good friends and its hard to just jump in on that. I am going to be making my own guild for my alts and my friends alts and my nephew etc... and I'm going to welcome anyone else that would like a nice friendly place to level and quest. I'm going to hook up one of those free guild websites too. Only thing is I don't plan to raid or anything. Hopefully this will be a self-run guild were I can hopefully pick and choose members who may have something in common so they are more likely to group together. I also have my own vent server. |

I really need a new server too (EU). Mine is really underpopulated. There was recently a free transfer from Neptulon server which livened things up a bit- but there's never even been a queue even RIGHT after wrath came out There's hardly anyone ever on, I don't even have a guild any more.
I was thinking of transferring my characters to Sporeggar, since I have a friend from FFXI who plays now and again, and it's even in the same battlegroup. Does anyone know of any other well-populated, balanced EU servers? My main is Alliance and we're outnumbered about 3:1 by Horde on Shattered Halls, which being a PVP server makes it even less fun. Sup 5 80s beating on me outside Nexus ! |

There's a cozy GLBT guild that is casual raiding on a medium-size population server; Eredar (PvP), Horde-side named WICKED. It's also in need of girl gamers (then again, all guilds are short on estrogen). There are a few female members in their roster though, so they're not completely without.
The URL of their website is:
http://www.wickedofazeroth.com
And yes, it's related to the famed OZ (Alliance) that pops up every time you search for "lesbian" and "warcraft" in the same query - the GM is one and the same Sara Andrews. WICKED is the Horde guild they built up and disbanded OZ in favour of. |
