But why can't US games be useful?? Redneck Jamboree??  I admit, the "Coach" games are probably useful and after playing Cooking Mama, the recipes are actually ones you can attempt on your own, granted there are no measurements, but they're pretty realistic. But just... "Redneck Jamboree" doesn't sound at all useful or fun. It sounds like something Jeff Foxworthy came up with when he was drunk one night with Larry the Cable Guy. If there's a pig wrangling mini-game in that, I'll die laughing. Seriously.

I agree, most DS games aren't always for kids. In the US, they advertise them for children, but have any of you seen the new commercial for the Mystery Case Files game? It's two women in their early to mid 20's playing the game together!
I have the Wolf and Spice game for the DS and while its mainly just entertaining your demanding wolf girl and peddling wares it's very indepth and actually very hard (Horo's Japanese just kills me with cuteness.) But it's certainly not a kids game. And neither are the Zettai Karen Children or Rosario + Vampire games I'm trying to get ahold of. XD

Well I'll tell you what, I'm tired of everyone saying that everything should be censored because children exist.

I don't know, maybe I came up in a different age or something but American kids are soft as hell now. "I can't take Jeff picking at me, he's cyber bulling me..." Then the media REINFORCES it with "GTA caused them to shot those people on the freeway in that manner" or "Violent movies and bullying" drove them to plan Columbine  wah, wah wah! That's all I hear.

What the hell ever to that, I've playing GTA, Halo, etc and watching R movies since like forever but guess what my PARENTS taught me right from wrong and I'm not stupid enough to say "Oh lemme go shoot Johnny in real life to see if he comes back" because I was TAUGHT that that's not gonna happen! I mean not only is it common sense, it is also the PARENTS duty to make sure that their children only play with games or view movies that they're children are capable of handling and understanding. If you know you're child is weak then don't let 'em see it, plain and simple.

But oh no that's too much like the right damn thing to do. Typical American thing to do is pass the buck 'cause their too lazy to actually do some parenting. Ugh its annoying but I digress.

Anywho back to the original post: I really hope those games are fake.
Especially the Redneck one.
Lmao at the pig wrangling. Those are games you pick up in the $1 bin for a real good laugh.

No, those games are not fake. They're out already. Except the GTA one which comes out in March I believe. I don't really care less about the mature rating. It's just I don't want to get blamed for selling a game to a kid. My store gets a lot of internationals and its all spanish they speak. So when you explain to them not knowing what they're buying and then come back later saying we sold them a game not right for their kid, An try to put blame about not telling them. When In reality you did, but they don't still get wtf Im saying. So yeah parents today don't care its like if I buy you this will you shut up. Well, Back to what you were saying About the big wrangling, does that mean they'll make lasso's for the wii remote..

Hmm... attachable lassos? Kinda like the Lightsabers? I want one of those, btw. My grandmother said she wanted one, too. But she just likes gadgets that light up.

Kids these days are different from when we were growing up. Remember when NO KID had a cell phone unless they were rich? I only got one in high school because I worked in the next city. Now every kid has a cell phone. Every kid has a laptop or their own computer. Kids are soft, spoiled, pasty little monsters that only know how to make demands and cry about not having those demands met.

Kids don't play outside anymore. I'm a gamer, but gosh dang it, I played outside too! (Of course... I was in the garage making a wood sword with the Hyrule emblem on it with a sharpie marker. But it was still outside!)

Yes, Attachable lasso's. Its a great add-on to your wii accessorie collection. I so need to patent that.

I know I used to have fun playing with dirt outside as a kid. Sheesh even my brothers kids have cell phones, better ones than I do. Elementary kids spoiled as heck. I hate that.

Wow I really should have previewed and edited that post before I hit submit.
Anywho it's not your fault that they don't speak English. English is the official language and I hate to sound like a nativist but dammit everyone needs to learn English if they're gonna be here.

LMAO Wiimote lasso's!

God forbid that 'cause somebody will be blaming Nintendo if they miss and get some valuable item wrangled in the lasso then break  it.

Those games are definitely politically incorrect but who cares, I'm just in it for the phone.

Speaking of accessories.... remember when Playstation had the Rez Vibrator game from Japan?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rez

ROFL... Makes me wonder when they're going to come up with a game like that for the Wii... I need to stop thinking so in depth about this stuff...

And it's okay to spoil your kids as long as you're teaching them responsibility in the same breath (so to speak). I mean I was spoiled but I knew darn well that at any moment it could be snatched away and that I had to work for it (e.g. do well in school, behave AND do chores).

It's all about parents finding the right balance for their kids 'cause each child is different a parenting has to tailored to their children. One universal method doesn't work for every parent.

My chef instructor at the Culinary Academy always said that "Culinary is a Gadget Sport." I see it's true!

Those must be the new Wiimotes for "Cooking Mama Advance: Kick Rachel Ray's Butt in the Kitchen"
